The stay at this hotel was simply great-since we booked one wellness package at a really good price, we did not expect too much and actually during the whole stay we had this feeling that we are going to be billed extra when checking out:). So let us start with first impressions, nice entrance to the hotel when you are entering it is definitively enhanced with a view to the sea that at first seems really attached to the hotel. Then the kind recepcionist who was ready to answer all our questions. As we came to our floor we have definitely liked a modern style carpet that we were stepping onto while walking as well as decorative niches that were exchanging themselves with doors on the walls of the hallway. Next impression-the room-they told us that the hotel was renovated a year ago but I must say it really looks like brand new, the design of the room is pretty classical one, a typical 4* hotel but a bit more spacious one. On the bed they greeted us with nicely folden towels and bathrobes and little bags of lavander while on the little table by window there was a welcome drink also-one fine Croatian champagne with appropriate glasses-perfection. The next day we spent at the wellnes that is really great. The hall with the pool, as well as the fitness and sauna area are alle overviewing the sea which is as I have mentioned only like 10-15m from the hotel. Sauna area and pool are not too big and if the hotel was full they would probably be crowded but for us since we came out of turistic season it was really more than enough and it is really really clean. The girls at wellness are really nice persons, besides that they are great when performing beauty services, they are also nice to chat with. And all treatments that we had (massage, arma soft touch and manicure) were really done thorough. I will definitively go back to that spa.
As for food at the hotel, it was also great, since we were there as I said out of season, the offer was really decent and everything I tried at dinner was delicious.
The thing that I really liked at tho hotel is how it fits to the surrounding, Island of Pag is full of stone and has few vegetation and the hotel is really pleasent for the eye.
Lacks...hm.. well Pag at that time when we visited it is really not a place to party, everything is really really calm and quiet, the air is really fresh but forget about the disco fever, although we did found one local bar where we had few drinks and it was ok, but realy not a place that everybody would like. The situation in the summer is probably very different so don't take me for granted...
At the end my advice is to use the low season when the prices are really more than affordable, especially if you are looking a place to rest and since locals are also recommanding it. Ah, yes and one more thing, since the island is connected through a bridge with a mainland, it is also practical to do little trips and visit great cities nearby...like Zadar.
