“Fantastic location and good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

We visited the restaurant on several occations in September 2012. Laying right next to the sea, the view is fantastic. You can enjoy your meal as you watch the beautiful sunset. The food is great and the waiters are very friendly. We ate both fish and meat dishes. The meat was tender and the fish was fresh. I strongly recomend the restaurant to anyone out for a good meal with beautiful scenery.

“A diamond in the rough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

We visited croatia three years ago, and virtually lived at Punta. IT's in a beautiful setting right by the water's edge. Food is good, waiting staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is just right.
Lucky for us, when we went back during our honeymoon, we weren't let down! Punta is not a "fine dining" restaurant, and yes, it's staff can seem to be a bit cocky at times. But they are not rude, they are polite, knowledgeable, and will bend over backwards to please. After our first visit this time, we asked if they could get us a lobster for our last night - nothing was too much trouble, and it wasn't just a lobster we got. We were presented with a table laid with white linen, then our lobster - but not just the lobster - he rested on a bed of beautiful tagliatelle in a tomato sauce, surrounded by langoustines, mussels, and prawns, all beautifully laid out. They really know how to make an occasion special., all you have tp do is ask.
The food may not be the most elaborate, but it is fresh, good quality, and well cooked. The fish is always beautifully done, and the desserts are to die for. Do not miss out on the baklava - but you may need to share, the portions are huge.
Punta is not the cheapest restaurant in Supetar, but it is reasonable, and the experience is brilliant. I know some people have had their criticisms of this, but I would ask anyone to give it a chance. It's not shiny and clean cut, but it is a gem - a real diamond in the rough.

“Great location !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

We are fish and grilled squids. My fish (dorade) was excellent, fresh and tasty. My wife liked the seafood also. The young waiter that served us was very friendly and informative.
The sunset view from this restaurant towards Spit is fantastic!

“Great view - decent food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

Sitting out on the patio near the water is just amazing! You can see a few cities across the water and also on the island. We got some salads, grilled squid and a few other things - all was good. We decided to come back another time just for the view though!

“Friendly staff, quality food, fabulous setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

We had dinner here with family 5 times out of seven, it was so good - we do not normally do this, but this place is special. Great selection, fresh fish, really nice and honest staff, very good with the kids. Wines were a treat, and the sunset across the bay is just breathtaking. Do not miss it.
