Amazing place for a small group/ family of adults. We could have stayed forever. Everywhere we looked was another beautiful seating space and corner to discover. And the breakfasts were delicious (and picked from the garden!)

Room Tip: All rooms are special. Really great to go with a group and book all 4 rooms.

Located in the lower Galilee in the gated community of Ilaniya is Hemdatya – an exclusive ‘bed and breakfast’, a restored farm that was built in the 1920’s comprising of the family home and five outhouses, today the family home has been converted into the kitchen/shared entrance hall where Atalya greets you with a choice of wine or cider, both products of the farm and both delicious, in the morning you are welcomed with a delightful feast of Shakshuka, quiche, herbed omelette, goats cheese, goats milk yoghurt, grilled eggplant with tahini, breads, preserves, olives, fruit, salads and herbal tea all sourced from the farm, and plentiful portions, enough to take with you for lunch.
The five outhouses have been converted to guestrooms, our room comprised of a bedroom, bathroom, and separate kitchenette/lounge area with roomy loft above (great for children) all tastefully preserved whilst including all mod cons – kitchenette, TV with cable, dvd with movies, air conditioning, Wi-Fi.
The traditional elements include a beautiful stone bath built into the floor, attention to detail with decorative tiles, classic furnishings and olive based eco-friendly toiletries, we stayed with our 3 month old son and were provided with a handmade cot and quilted blanket.
The farm itself is a testament to sustainability and self-sufficiency, guests are encouraged to explore and pick the abundant fruit, vegetables and flowers, I picked lemongrass leaves and made tea. There are many lounging options, the pool, spa, sun lounges, love seat, hammock, water cushion, private patio.
This is true 5 star accommodation where you won’t be disappointed, the extra touches – homemade apple pie, chocolates and fresh flowers on arrival, and late checkout make this secluded slice of heaven a place you will come back to.

Peace & tranquility... Hemdatya is a true labour of love, a beautifully restored turn of the century house and outbuildings totally in harmony with nature. The room was faultless, the breakfast was sumptuous and the surroundings glorious. If you come you will not want to leave....

This is our second stay with the entire family of 11 after having visited the place before as a couple. We occupied 4 rooms and therefore felt as " masters of the place". Atalya was again very kind and explained to our kids and grandchildren the story of the place. For dinner we had a chef coming to the dinning house to cook for all of us a terrific dinner. We all enjoyed the central hot jacuzzi and the open fireplaces in each room. Summer or winter, the place is special, including the food prepared by a woman from the close by Circassian village. Modern amenities like big bath, big flat screen TV, YES satellite channels, CD/DVD and A/C in all rooms. A place I can warmly recommend for an experience a little of the beaten track.

We were staying there with family who came from the US , the atmosphere of this beautiful decorated old farm is astonishing.
organic vegtables , homemade olives , excellent wine and cheese and many other little excellent products made this stay an unforgetable.
In the first step you feel like the farmers 100 years ago.
The owner Atalya is very friendly and has interesting stories about how the re-built this farm house step by step by themselves.

Room Tip: each room has different design but all of them have this unique relax galilee atmosphere

hemdatya location is the best base to travel in the north of Israel.
on the main road from Tel-aviv to the far north, only 1.5hr.
between Nazareth, the galeele lake, near mount tabor. (toscany type landscape).
The hotel itself is unique. preserved farm stone house.
the room was clean comfortable.
the wood-stove... pity it was summer(hope to see it in winter).
The brakefast is an remarkable (what a yogurt)
Book 2 nights from the beggining, because, after the first one, you will want to stay.
