“Schnapps which is smooth and tasty... who would have thought”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

We tasted the apple schnapps and Wattle Toffee Liquor.... we left with a couple bottles of each... need I say more?

They had a wall of various liquors to try and buy plus lots of little quirky gifts. Definitely worth a look the buildings and gardens add to the experience.

Friendly, informative owners, we'll definitely head back there next time we are in the area.

“Adorably Quirky”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

Absolutely packed full of elixers that will get the table talking and possibly even dancing. Delicious flavours. Very interesting to see how its made and not to mention the free choice of six tastings from their massive range. Tamborine Mountain Distillery have won awards and i expect they will continue to do so. A great place to get gifts or an alcoholic drink to pull out to impress the guests at dinner. Each bottle is hand painted which i thought was far from classy but it gave a unique feel to each bottle and i warmed to the idea or it just could of been the schnapps i had sampled.
Great place its a must see, the owners are fantastic.

“Good for a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

This place makes a variety of liquors, you are able to pay for a taste and you will most likely make a purchase. A purchase here would also make a nice gift.

“Schapps, vodka to start the day!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This is a quaint place to have a look at. The tastings were $5 per person but this is discounted off any liquor purchase. We tasted wattle toffee, chocolate hazelnut, a deep red sour plum liquer and limoncello. Enough alcohol for just after 10 am. Very amiable friendly welcome. Something different on Tambourine. Interesting garden and surrounds.

“Nice tasting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

We went to the Distillery yesterday and we were greeted by the owner very nice man. We were then met by a quite rude lady we asked what do you recommend to taste? She replied its uo to you you are the ones who are tasting it. I thought she was very cold , we tried a few bought a couple of bottles and left. They have an online store so i wouldnt bother making the trip again. Something we were really looking forward to ended up being a fizzer........I might add the rude woman was not the owners, They were lovely. maybe they should re-educate the lady who is the front for their business on people skills!
