This hotel is actually just outside Luperon on the main road and a short drive/long walk to the Playa Grande. Its' main charm is its kitchen which is suprisingly good, no doubt the influence of your charming German hostess. We asked for the deluxe room which was supposed to offer A/C which worked intermittently. The ceiling fan was sufficient. A bigger challenge was the hot water which did not materialize despite the best efforts of our hosts. You should order breakfast in advance if you're interested since the kitchen appears to operate on a just-in-time basis. A rental car is a necessity. Check out Luperon and practice your Spanish - this town is much more relaxed than P Plata and larger centres. Costal views when they appear are breathtaking. ##Saluda!
