The aqueducts of Kish date back to 2500 years ago and provided the islanders' drinking water. Today, it has been transformed into an amazing underground city, with an area of 10 000 square metres. Kariz-E-Kish is 14 meter under ground and although it was more that 37 Celsius on the ground with extreme humidity, but it was cool , quite and less humid underground. I could feel some sort of spiritual sensation that only after a long meditation one can reach to it.
It really worth to be visited because Firstly, Kariz is situated in the heart of the only coral island in the world. Secondly, it is the only structure with a ceiling of natural shells and corals, for which there were only two ways to be sees– natural museums or scuba diving in free waters.
