“Best B&B in Speyside”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2009

We have now stayed at about 14 different B&B's in Speyside (from Carrbridge to Kingussie) and this is clearly the best on all fronts. We have stayed at Tigh na Fraoch five times and our daughter will shortly be starting her honeymoon here. All three rooms are very good but get the Four Poster if you can, with large en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. David & Jennie are the most welcoming hosts you could imagine and run the house for the benefit of their guests. eg. if you are a birdwatcher and want to get up at 5am in the summer to go and see the Capercaillies at the nearby RSPB reserve and then come back for breakfast they are totally accommodating and used to this. The location is perfect, particularly for birdwatchers, and the breakfasts wide ranging and well cooked. It has no faults. Dave & Sue Britton

Just back from a two night stay in May, and I want to go back already!! Be assured that this is a top notch B&B, my wife and I stayed in the four poster room and had the most peaceful and comfortable sleep. The en suite is a luxury affair and the breakfast is the best of local ingredients from the butcher round the corner! My wife loved the home made muffins!............free wi fi connection so you can surf you laptop in the room.......Superb!!!

We've stayed here four times since 2005. It is the best B&B we've ever stayed (and we've stayed at many). Excellent accommodation. Warm, friendly, hospitable and helpful proprietors. Excellent breakfast. We'd highly recommend it. We'll be back.
