We booked one of the hotels speical summer offers directly and from the moment we arrived everything was fantastic.

The food was great, service very friendly and the bedroom was just perfect.

Would highly recommend this Hotel, we will definatley be going back soon.

Stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding just down the road. The place is absolutely wonderful, and everything you'd expect from a proper Highland hotel.

Eating freshly cooked kippers in the breakfast room while looking out over the rolling hills was a delight.

The bar (although pricey!) was amazing. If you like whiskey, this is a seriously good place to stay.

Loved every minute here, and wish all hotels could be of equal quality.

Stayed here May 2007 for my Wedding. It is a beautiful old house in lovely 2400 acres of grounds and we all had a whale of a time!!

BUT it is not cheap the room rates are probably 20-30% over what they should be. Also the drink prices are rather steep but the residents bar is open as long as you can stand (last man standing was 5.15am). It is geared towards weddings and their attention is focused solely on you considering the expense of the wedding i would expect nothing less. So if you are staying at a weekend there is one but you are not part of the wedding party expect this and noise.

We had the bridal suite (room 3) which was a lovely big room, the bathroom was in the turrett and we were gifted with champagne, truffles and Pittodrie champagne flutes. It is immaculate throughout though hubby would complain that the cooked breakfast is more limited than expected.

In the week it is geared towards corporate guests and there are activities available through the hotel (clay pigeon shooting, archery etc) that are great value for money.

I stayed at the Pittodrie House Hotel for my friends wedding. After reading some of the reviews, I really did not know what to expect, but I was very pleasantly suprised.

Our room was a great size, the bed was fabulous, and the cleanliness was great.

Definitely stay there.
