“Lovely food and friendly, helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Baileys is an interesting building, with lots of extra seating upstairs.

The main courses were hot, fresh and delicious. And the desserts were fabulous, with good, large portions. All the staff were helpful and chatty. Nice background music (not too loud). We all felt very relaxed there. And very full afterwards!

I'd definitely recommend it.

“Very nice food but a little expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

Eaten here a few times and always been pleased. Food is very nice and a good selection, but a little expensive compared to similar standard places. Still, for Bridgnorth it is one of the best places to eat for quality

“A chef's special. Or a special Chef?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

A friend and I dined at Baileys Bistro and Wine Bat last Saturday night 8/09/2012. as it was recommended to me by a friend who lives locally, in Quatford.I ordered a Chicken Chasssuer at £12.95 from the Chef's specials board.

Clearly my food was microwaved as a chicken breast takes far longer that 7 minutes to cook. The dish was bland to say the least and the chips were too hard for my liking. (That aside, the Chassuer tasted like a fridge so I found myself asking how long has this dish been sat there on the so called specials board?

The waiting staff all seemed more interested in hanging around in the kitchen, chatting, swearing and having a social in plain sight of other diners.

When there are foods on the menu that cost in excess of £10.00/£15.00 a dish you expect a more formal and classier dining experience and I felt as though I could have been sat in any over-priced Wetherspoons in the country. (Especially with the MICROWAVED SPECIAL).

Very disappointed. My friend is quite obviously ill advised as to what makes a great dining experience. Also, the microwave pinging away in the background always makes me uneasy!!

“Great meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

We visited Bailey's on 10/9/12 & had a great meal. The food was delicious, the atmosphere very cosy & welcoming & the staff couldn't have been nicer. We both had fillet steak cooked to perfection.

“Not as good as it used to be.................”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

I have dined here for over 15 years. Ad-hoc !!. To me it was a amazing resturant. But I went a few wks ago and how disappointant I was. The food was cold and bland. The staff well, manners shameful. What a shame it's gone down hill. Sorry guys but please return to your full glory.
