“divine and delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

What a gorgeous setting - and some of the most divine and delicious cakes and treats I have ever had - such an experience to have a proper, old fashion English tea room.

We will be back!

“Just the job lovely tea and cakes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

Stopped off here as we were passing through with my family, what a charming little place and the cakes are to die for. We were made very welcome be the owners who had time for a chat and advised us of places to visit in the area. We would definitely go back.

“Awesome and Charming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

A welcome break from a long drive. Great service, lovely cuppa, nice scone with jam and cream. The proprietor was very friendly and made us feel at home. Ordered a second cuppa as was so warm and friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Mercury rises.

“Victorian Tearoom With Lots Of Charm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

I have been on trip advisor and wondered what the couple from Hawes were looking for when they entered a Victorian Tearoom (COSTA with plastic tables??) I have visited many tearooms and have to say this is one of the nicest that I have been to it is not shabby it is true victorian lovely cakes friendly staff and service and I will be back again. Our ancestors in the victorian times would be very upset at this being called shabby!

“Yummy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

My hubby and I stopped at the tea room and were very pleased we had. A traditional tearoom that is cosy and friendly and has great cake!!! The owner served us personally and his overt pride in his establishment is well justified. Will definitely make visiting a part of our routine. Very friendly with our 2 year old as well, which is always most appreciated.
