My husband & I stayed for one night in a double ensuite room. The room was very cosy, clean and lovely & warm. I was very impressed. The owners were very helpful & friendly. Would recommend the cooked breakfast too

I have now stayed at Heskin farm many times for several years now.Les and Charlotte have constantly maintained a spotless establishment, with room faclities on par with good hotels.Over the years there have been many an interesting conversation over a great breakfast in the open plan kitchen..An excellent start to the day !Pricing is per person, not per room,so it is very fair for single travellers.

What a fantastic b and b to stay in. The owners bend over backwards so far they could win an Olympic medal in limbo dancing! Lovely clean modern accommodation. Charlotte cooks the best breakfast in the north and Les is so entertaining he should be on the stage, (ask for the story about the 50th birthday). The beds are lovely and comfy with nice fluffy pillows. Will stay again and would recommend to anybody. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Room Tip: Book, don't just turn up....they are likely to be booked up otherwise

enjoyed a very welcoming stay, excellent breakfast and lovely surroundings ... a couple of excellent pubs nearby also, especially The Ship which is at it's very best during occasional ale and music festivals

Room Tip: Rooms are decent and not too big, not too small, and they also have apartments here for longer stays...

Just back from one night at Heskin Farm ..... it won't be the last !! Couldn't believe we had a duplex suite with lounge, kitchen, upstairs bathroom and extra double bed in case we wanted a party !! Enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the farmhouse kitchen and chatting with the owners and other guests too. Very quirky and a great experience. If the price was double what it is, it would still be worth it.
Many thanks to Les & Charlotte.

Room Tip: Ask for the suite or flat.

A warm welcome and really helpful with well appointed rooms and spotlessly clean. A B&B with real character. Les and Charlotte ensured our stay had everything we needed. The short walk to the Ship Inn along the canal path is highly recommended.
