“Good,but not perfect.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

Nice food, reasonable prices, the owner very nice and friendly but his staff was a bit confused (tired?) so we had to ask few times for forks, knives, salt etc. Overall 7/10

“Unpretentiously outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

Went for lunch, 3 adults 1 child + baby. May be just a little cafe in a side street but gave us all a giant smile. Genuinely friendly folk. I dont know a massive amount about Moroccan food and asked for "Nice food", to a certain price. Got a wonderful, mini banquet of 3 courses accompanied by fresh mint tea. Excellent .
Also, worthy of note, they were just normal with the children. Very pleasant with them without being artificially treacly. It was almost like visiting a good relatives house who's an excellent cook.

“Lovely food - lovely guy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2012

Have eaten in this cafe and had takeaways on several occasions

You basically choose at the counter from about 6-8 main dishes and about 15-20 salad and side dishes - mix and match

And you just have to top it off with some mint yogurt

Typically breaded chicken with ginger and garlic, a tagine, lamb kebab, chicken curry, lemon chicken - with couscous, chillies, olives, chickpeas, salad etc

Extremely good value - the owner is a really nice man - and loads of different flavours

Unpretentious and informal - strongly recommended

“An amazing little hidden gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2011

I visited Cafe Mozaic with a client who regularly eats there and what a great little place it is. An amazing array of beautiful Moroccan and Lebanese food is on display in a chilled cabinet as you enter. A very friendly owner was taking great care preparing all of the food and were served by extremely helpful staff. We ordered one meat mezze platter and one vegetable mezze platter to share - a bit of everything and more than enough for two. The assortment of dishes and flavours was incredible. Judging from the number of people that were coming in for takeaways, this place is a favourite for many locals. It is not flashy restaurant, it doesn't have a license but it is a great honest little cafe serving wonderful food at very reasonable prices.
