“Wouldn't Recomend!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

The hotel did look nice very pleasant but I'm sorry to say the food was disgusting! Finding hairs in it just put us off for the rest of the week !it was very hard to communicate with the staff as we spoke barely no Spanish and same with them with English , and what topped it off was that we heard one off the guests rooms had an insect infestation in their room! It made me feel very uneasy while I was sleeping ! So overall I'm afraid I WOULDN'T recommend...

We have just spent a very enjoyable few days at Hotel Koppers which provides excellent value for money. Our room, bathroom and bedding was spotlessly clean. Meals were lovely: breakfast consisted of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, rolls, cold meats, cheeses and more. Lunch and Dinners always had choices of salads, pasta meals, fish dishes, various meat dishes, vegetables, chips, other potato dishes, rice dishes and a lovely selection of desserts and fresh fruits. All the food was fresh and provided enough choice to cover all tastes. Our children had a great time in the hotel pools. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk to the main shops/bars/beach at Pineda de Mar, which is very pleasant - it is alot quieter than other nearby resorts, so research the area to meet your expectations. There is a large market on Friday mornings along the main seafront road. There is a train station on the main seafront road and frequent trains take you easily and cheaply to nearby resorts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Koppers Hotel and would have no hesitation in returning to stay there again. Having read previous negative reviews of this hotel, I would suggest they are over exaggerated and perhaps written by people who like to pay 'Toby Carvery' prices and then expect to be served fillet steak and champagne!

I have just stayed here with a school trip. We had read the reviews on trip adviser and it caused some concern amongst staff and parents. These comments are unfair. It is not a high end hotel but it is a good choice for students. It's clean and comfortable. The food is fine. We felt safe and secure. We had nothing go missing. If you are a parent or teacher this is a good choice of accommodation for a school party and our students had no real complaints. If you are staying here on a holiday you should expect a budget option, the food is plentiful but average, the rooms are simple but clean. The air con is hit and miss in rooms, the pool has seen better days. You will probably be sharing it with school parties if you stay in term time. If you want luxury you'll need to pay a bit more and choose a different hotel.

I just took a group of students to Hotel Koppers and was pleasantly surprised. After unecessary worry as a teacher having read the exagerrated bad reviews, I was happy with all the aspects of the hotel. The rooms were clean, the food was good and provided a variety, the staff were extremely friendly, the location excellent and the facilities and entertainment was great for the students. I hope that puts some minds at rest !

It was one of the worst hotels we've been to, I don't thing I would have given them 2 stars. The breakfast was poor, not good at all. The rooms were absolutely horrible, not cleaned, beds were very uncomfortable, we couldn't sleep all night, very small bathroom, old furniture, with a strange smell, god, absolutely disgusting. I would never ever recommend this hotel, if you can say it is a hotel...

Close your eyes.Imagine the worst place you've ever been, hold that thought. Now add to that scene the aroma of the next rooms freshly laid dump penetrating your nasal cavity. Stay with me. Now listen as you begin to hear the sound of poorly perfomed sex echoing from the paper thin walls. Your nearly there. Now relent to the urge to vacate the room and justify your cheap choice of hotel to your family by pointing out the pool area and nearby town. As you look upon the desolate pool, cascaded in the shadows of the insurmountable prison-like building you've just condemned you family to, you begin to hurry them out placating them with the notion that the town is just a moment away. As you walk for what seems hours, you arrive at the town. A town that encapsulates all that is wrong upon this earth. A town that has shops, yet sells nothing. A town that somehow sucks your very last flailing flicker of hope. Now open your eyes and do all that is in your power to prevent this from becoming a reality as it did for me.

This is the worst hotel i have even seen in my life, if anybody has seen the inbetweeners movie it makes the hotel in the film look good as hotel koppers is disgusting. It was opposite a building site so the view from our balcony wasnt to plesent. Staff werent friendly at all, food was awful everything was fish even chips had fish sauce on them and same food every night i would rather eat hospital food, there were no shops or supermarkets around the area and all locals seemed rude if you spoke to them. Bedrooms were basic and balcony doors VERY easy to open from the outside so not safe at all, didnt feel safe the whole stay and other people in the hotel had belongings stolen from there room whilst having dinner. I would not recommend this hotel for anybody as I couldnt wait to get home worst place ever!!

Room Tip: all rooms are awful
