this is a lovely hotel, with excellent facilities, in a super quiet location. staff are friendly and helpful. the weather was hot, although cool in the evenings, due to it being on the atlantic. transfer from faro airport is almost an hour. we were all inclusive, the drinks were good, but the food was a complete let down. the evening meal was inevitably luke warm, they even provide a microwave for yuo to heat it up, choice was poor, one evening it was between salmon or liver,,, both being cooked on the same griddle at the same time.a lot of the food appeared frozen,we even saw them opening packs of frozen beefburgers one night, as for the snacks, dont bother, 2 slices of white bread filled with a slice of processed cheese.definitely 2 star food,in a 4star hotel,

Having just returned from a weeks all inclusive holiday we wanted to share our fabulous experience at this hotel. Having read positive comments on TripAdvisor, we were still apprehensive before we travelled with our 2 children.
The hotel was of a very high standard, with excellent facilities and very helpful staff. Food was extensive and of very good quality.
Weekends seemed to be very busy with many local holiday makers - this was not a negative, but be aware that meal times may result in a longer wait for a table. The meal times were spread over 2/2.5 hours and enabled us to eat as it suited us.
There were very hard working entertainment staff - this was not invasive at all & very much "join in if you like".
Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a Spanish holiday without the trappings of commercialism and high rise concrete hotels and apartments.

We had originally booked to stay at the closed Oasis up the road, and were a little dissapointed to be changing our plans. We travelled as our usual family of five plus the grandparents!
As said in previous reviews, this is a Spanish speaking hotel in a mainly Spanish speaking hotel but we, with very limited Spanish, found communication to be no problem- Cuba Libre is the same the world over!!!

Unfortunately Grandad was poorly on the holiday, the staff really showed how good they were! Finding doctors, organising taxis, advising on over-the-counter medication but above all, remebering he was ill and phoning to offer help and assistance in the following days.

All in all a lovely, spotlessly clean hotel with a vast pool, a few minutes walk from the sea. Fab little restaurants dooted around the supermarket to the left, towards Antilla and in the shopping centre in Islantilla, our favourite however was a pizza restaurant in Antilla, great smoked salmon pizza. We did stay all-inclusive and found the food great, but really it is nice to get out and see the place you've chosen to visit! IOW we didn't go out because we had to, but beacuse we wanted to.

Very quiet in the week- busy at the weekend.

It seems a shame that more British peolpe don't visit this gem of a hotel and resort, just lovely, renewed my love of Spain!

Room Tip: We had a pool view room to the left of the pool on the fourth floor- unfortunately it got no sun! Th...

Every thing about this hotel and area was good. The room was large and clean, with a fridge but do take a kettle. The swimming pool huge, all to my self til about 11 30.The all inclusive excellent
red wine good,Gordons gin Johnny Walker ect.
The staff are what makes the difference, always polite, helpful, happy to see you. They are very hard working, and if you can speak a little Spanish they will meet you more than half way.
The food is good quality ,especially the fish.
At the weekend the Spanish arrive,go down to the beech and on the left sunbeds with mattresses an
d shade 8.50E for the day.The beech is great ,with people doing the dance for clams.

We have recently spent 10 days at this hotel. We were 2 couples and had a fabulous time. The staff from reception to dining room and bar staff couldn't do enough to make the holiday go well. Isobell at reception arranged a flamenca night out for us in a near by village which was excellent.. We had a room on the 5th floor over looking the pool, which was spacious with a fridge and safe. It was very quiet at the beginning of the week then the Spanish families arrived for the weekend, which was entertainment in itself. Sunday evening it all went quiet again!
The beach is lovely , there is a fishing village near by where you can have a drink and watch the boats. The all inclusive drinks were all branded names .All in all a very good holiday only 50 minutes from Faro airport. It was very hot 30 c but plenty of shade. As has been stated before not for people who want a hectic drinking or clubbing night-life.

Stayed in this hotel on a half board basis at the beginning of April and overall had a marvellous time. If you're thinking of going this time of year the weather is a little unpredictable, ranging from torrential rain to bright sunshine, in fact it rained every day we were there. The standard of the hotel is very good, although take a Spanish phrasebook, as very few of the staff speak no English at all, ( as would be expected in a place where English tourists are few and far between). The rooms are large and spacious, most with a pool view or sea view and the food is plentiful and tasty. It is a little on lukewarm side though but there is a microwave oven in the restaurant which we used to heat it up. We took the option of half board at £200 per person less than all inclusive and were glad we did. Hotel bar prices are very expensive but there is a small complex of shops/bars & restaurants a ten minute walk away where a pint of beer (or euro equivalent) will cost no more than 1.5 euros, and a glass of wine the same (but be warned the wine is awful). There is also a fairly decent sized supermarket nearby where you can buy bread, cold meats etc for lunches on your hotel balcony. Alcohol prices in the supermarket are beyond belief, 1 litre of beer for 87 cents, a bottle of Cava 2.67 and a 70cl bottle of whisky 4.75. The swimming pool is large and has plenty of beds (if the weather is good enough to use them), but beware if you use the indoor pool / spa area there is a 3 euro charge if youre not all inclusive. The only other gripe I would have was that there were far too many children in the hotel and meal times were a bit noisy because of this, but we did go during the Easter holidays. Overall, we had a great time and would return although would probably go a little later in the year when there would be a better chance of decent weather.

Room Tip: You pay more for room with a pool view. Not really worth it as all the rooms have a decent view, we...

After reading some reviews we were a bit worried about the standard for the rooms and food. Went half board, which for some reason was cheaper than B&B.With the thought that could always eat out. Which we did a few times, out of choice. But the food at the hotel was good and plentiful. We stayed 5 days and didn’t find it repeated at all. Room clean and towels changed daily.
