“Nice place for a holiday”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

Really nice place spending the holidays. Nice pools. Good poolarea.
Ok restaurant that also do takeaway, so we also could eat at home.
A nice little shop, with the most essential things.

The place is located 2 km from the town, so a car is needed. Walking or biking along the road to the town is dangerous with a lot of traffic.

The place could use an area where a family could make a barbecue.
But more importantly the place should make wi fi free, or lower the prices. Charging 4 euro for one hour of wifi is way too expensive.
In the evening the sprinklers start watering the lawns at 23 o'clock. Very annoying when sitting outside, and the water is everywhere. Why not wait until 3 o'clock in the night when most people sleep.

Apartments very basic, ours was booked through canvas.ie and we got a good deal. we felt. couch covering and curtains smelt and looked bit grubby. Minimal kitchen utensils, no kettle so boil water in pots provided. Take care as all have small metal handles. No entertainment in the evening. Everything shuts down by 10pm latest. only one table for table tennis, located in an extremely poorly light area, hense a que of kids each evening waiting patiently as there are NO other kids activities available unless you have age 6 or less that join in with the animation antics that finish up by 8.30ishpm. Loads of lovely grassy areas on the perimiter of the pool area to play, but also lightling in non existant, to the dissopointment of the children that wish to play ball or other activities in the evening, it was dark by 9ish. Nice walk to nearby village of cavacassle, lovely pastry shop , cash machine, minimarket. Also, nearby is Eurospar , large supermarket. Fanstastic sports shop beside it, and upstairs is nic nac heaven! Store called 'fa-das' Selling everything from a hammer to a pair of earrings! Got some great bargains there and gifts for home. Belvedere village is in a good loctation. If you dont mind the walk, and your kids are older, you can brave the walk into the nearby town of Peschera, not to be missed. Would i go back....yes, but dont forget to bring your basics.......Tea towels, (i always bring my worst ones, an dump them) washing brush or ebrasive sponge, dish cloths, few bags, washing tabs, ping pong bats n balls, mosqito repellants, universal adapters for charging, if you have those jelly or beach shoes, they are handy as is stoney at lake, bar of soap for bathrooms, seasonings for meals, i threw in arromat, was lovely on meals, all in one hair and body gel, will do everyone! swim hats, (we stayed on a camp site that they were a requirement on one occassion) I made a list as i went along of things i will need and rem for next time, am going to put together my 'holiday box' if i am lucky enough to be able to go away again there. :))))) viv.

Just want to put up a quick note for anyone booking the Bella Italia website. Belvedere village have now been linked on the Bella Italia accommodation website. When you look at the apartments on the site it is not clear that they are NOT located on the campsite. When you book they send you an email then to inform you but too be fair if you are on the Bella Italia website and are booking accommodation you are not looking for accommodation 3km from the campsite. We ended up staying 1 night until we were moved to the Bella Italia campsite. The complex is fine (the pool and playgound did look really nice) we arrived in the evening so we didn’t really get to use any of the facilities except the restaurant which was fine. The apartments that we stayed in were a little dark (with mad green cupboards) and I just didn’t like the feel of them. The complex is fine for someone who is happy with a really quite holiday or is only using as a base to travel around Lake Garda with a car. If you have older kids and like maybe walking into town etc it is really not suitable. The road into Peschiera is not safe to walk, I really wanted people just to be aware that it is not near Bella Italia. When we asked to be moved
(we stayed in June so we were lucky it was in the quieter season and was an option – I assume in high season this would not be available) the 2 girls at reception were very nice and friendly and helped us move easily

Room Tip: I did feel the rooms could be cleaner - there was alot of dust (shelves beside the bed , dead fly et...

Good choice for that price! Excellent position to go to Gardaland, Lake Garda ...
Clean rooms and friendly staff.
We had very pleasant time during our stay at the Belvedere Village.
If you get hungry there is a restorant with good Italian food.

Room Tip: Go to rooms on first floor, garden rooms can be moisture.

The place is located 3 km from Gardaland/Movieland! Great location! The rooms are fine, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/living room and a bathroom. There are some kitchen tools to make breakfast/lunch/dinner. There is also a small restaurant and a mini market shop.
There are 3 swimming pools, 1.20m deep, so the kids can swim without been with them all the time.
The service was great, very helpful.
We stayed there for a week and from there we went to Venice, the Dolomites, Verona and around the Garda lake.

Room Tip: Ask for the lower floor room if you have heavy luggage.

we stayed in this village twice, and if we will visit this area of garda again, we will definitely stay there again. Its not crowded. The pool is big & clean. the rooms are very convenient. A room for the childrens and a room for the parents. The kitchen is big and you can sit comfortably inside & outside on the balcony. things to know: you clean the room alone and you put the sheets that the hotel gives you alone and you can change them twice a week ( i think) including towels.
There is a nice supermarket in the village with basic things like freash bread, milk. eggs.... opens in the morning and in the afternoon.
You have to bring with you soap&sponge for the dishes naylon bags for the garbage ,soap for the bathroom. buy toiletpaper 'caus they give only one .
But steel, its a great place for this price.
And , its near all the attractions of garda.
The restaurant on the street of the entrace of the hotel is a great place to eat with the children.

This place is built only about 2 to 3 years. The complex is finished very well though it is spoiled by the entrance road which is still under developement and makes you feel like you are entering a construction site however once inside the complex there is no sign of this. A nearby crane is the only visable unsightly structure. The pool areas are very nice but are tight on space around the poolside. There is just enough space to fit a sun lounger. Passers by will either have to "walk on water" or walk on your book to get by. You have to be up early to get a poolside seat as booking of beds by placing towels seems accepted practice. The pools are well maintained and clean and has no apparant restriction on swimwear despite what it says on the website about skimpies for men. There are no restrictions on toys in the water which is great for the kids as there is little else on site to do except for the one ping pong table. The onsite restaurant is good though you have to choose your meal from the menu the day before. Take away is great for pizza and chips. The staff are very friendly and all but for one bad encounter with a night security man who took his job very seriously we had a pleasant stay. You will not get your car in after 11 pm. You will need a car to see the sights. Lake garda being the main one. The village of Garda is amazing. There are lots of lovely villages with restaurants nearby. Verona is a 20min drive and a must see.. Of course Gardaland is a must do also. Great value bought at the Belvedere village office at €30.00 per person over 1mtr. Some fantastic rides and lot to see in one day. 10am to 11pm and still a ride or two missed. Be prepared for average 30 mins queue for the main rides thou you can fast track most for €3 each.
Over all the site is a good place to stay. We stayed one week in late July 2012 and were ready to leave after the week with a 2yr old girl and 3 boys under 12. The accomodation is clean modern and basic. The beds are comfortable. Not bad all in all though it is a once only stay. I would have no reason to return.
The photos are very accurate though the plantlife is much more mature now.
