“Wonderful villa in great central Tuscan location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

My wife and I shared a wonderful villa at Casale di Villore with four of our friends. Villore is beautifully situated atop a hillside looking west towards San Gimignano, which can be seen off in the distance. You can see beautiful sunsets looking out over olive groves and the Tuscan valley. While Villore is out in the quiet countryside, it's still a reasonable car ride to many great places - Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, wineries on the Chianti trail and many other places. Antonio is very friendly and helpful and has many recommendations for memorable things to do. He'll make arrangements for you, if you'd like. The villas are incredible. Old world charm outside and very nicely appointed inside. Internet access is hit or miss; but otherwise everything thing is great. We highly recommend it.

“Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

From the moment we arrived at Casale di Villore we knew that our stay was going to be unforgettable. There in front of us was a panaoramic view of paradise; an infinity pool surrounded by olive trees and a vineyard as far as the eye could see. Our accomodations were great too-we loved all of the decorating 'touches'. Antonio was always so helpful-from suggesting great restaurants nearby, to giving perfect directions to booking us at Monterinaldi, where we had a great lunch and tour of the winecellar etc. It felt so much like 'home' that none of us wanted to leave! We all agreed that we will return to Casale di Villore in the future.

I was lucky enough to recently stay at Casale di Villore. The place is beautiful. It is clean, the owners are so friendly and helpful, To sit there in the evening and watch the sun go down was spectacular. “An outstanding stay in Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Our stay at the Casa de Villore exceeded our expectations way beyond our hopes. Antonio welcomed us really well in this wonderful place where we spent the greatest time of all ever. We strongly recommend this place which provide wonderful eyesights, and peaceful moments. Great for any family who wishes to discover Tuscany as Casa di Villore is nearby all the greatest location.
And, the food is outstanding, and the wines... there would be so much to say.

“Our nicest stay in Tuscany so far”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

after hours of extending internet searching we discovered this little paradise on the web .Finally we found what we thought should be the vacation house in Tuscany. How nice it was to arrive and discover that the website of Casale Di Villore as well as all the reviews where what we expected. Location,Location,Location ! Perfect between Firenze and Sienna
The property is gorgeous, the view stunning, the sight at the swimmingpool phenomenal. There is a family atmosphere,The owner is always around and his presence shows how much he cares about the place, maintenance of flowers,swimmingpool...the good feeling of his guests, we especially appreciated the friendly advice for day excursions...The appartement we rent was spacious, nicely furnished.Only the bathroom was a bit old fashion and to small but that is unimportant if you see all the nice things this casa has to offer. We really hope to go back some day !

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Once an imposing guard tower, its image drawn on antique maps of the region, Il Casale di Villore’s main structure dates back to 1200. Over the course of the centuries, a series of annexes were built to house the families that worked the land. An olive press, granary and a wood -burning oven, still fully functional, were also added to bake the bread and store the grain of those residents of centuries ago. Recently restored, Il Casale di Villore invites you to live the Tuscan dream in this genteel country residence.Designed to embody both refinement and simplicity, the residence, in both its interior design and the rustic beauty of the exteriors, exists in perfect harmony with the surrounding countryside. The vast garden encircling the property leads to a large swimming pool, nearly hidden amongst the olive trees. From poolside, guests have a breathtaking view of the towers of San Gimignano and the Castle of Strozzavolpe. Cypress trees, vineyards and oak forests extend as far as the eye can see - criss -crossed here and there by a shady country lane or a gravel path leading to an old stone farmhouse. ... more   less
