“Colorful relaxing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

Relaxing Tuscany location with fantastic views in every direction. Stayed 4 nights in comfortable clean room. Breakfasts were amazing with great variety to meet anyone's desires. Family that runs this is warm, kind, helpful, efficient. We were part of a small tour group and used this as a base. Wish I had been there longer to take advantage of pool and hot tub. Laundry service was excellent and affordable compared to rest of Italy.

Everything was absolutely wonderful except the bathroom, which had a slight odor in the evenings. We had to close the door and open a window. Everything else about this hotel was top-notch. Very friendly family/staff. Service was fantastic. Great setting. Very relaxing. Would go again.

Room Tip: do not get room 12. Others reported no problems with their rooms at all.

My son and I stayed at Villa Lecchi when we traveled through Italy last June with Odysseys International small tour group. What an unexpected treat this was. The Villa is run by Laura and her family. Three generations all working together to make you feel at home. Laura's Mom cooks all the meals and her husband does the baking. Her two boys are there too. Laura is so welcoming to everyone and the Villa has been beautifully restored by them. The views are breathtaking. This was my favorite place that we stayed during our three week visit to Italy.

I recently stayed at the Villa Lecchi for 4 nights on a guided tour. It was wonderful and the highlight of the trip. The rooms (in a restored 18th century villa) were large and very comfortable. The Villa sits on top of a hill with incredible views of the Tuscan countryside in all directions. The owner (Laura) and her extended family will make you feel completely at home. The food is excellent and the portions will make you feel full without feeling stuffed. Breakfast is wonderful with frittatas and pizza and just about anything else you can imagine.

When I return to Tuscany, I will stay at the Villa, rent a car and take day trips to Florence, Siena and other Tuscan attractions. I will return to the Villa mid afternoon and take walks or sit on the terrace and drink sangria and admire the countryside. It doesn't get any better.

Room Tip: I don't think there are any bad rooms

This is one of the most beautiful places! The view is amazing any time of the day. The owners do anything they can to make you fell welcome & pampered. Delicious food and beautiful rooms combined with the hospitality of the family makes you never want to leave. I can't say enough good things about Villa Lecchi - I would recommend to everyone!

It is like looking at a beautiful painting of the Tuscan landscape no matter where you look. The family who own the property treated us like family and the food was the best ever. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nestled in the panoramic hills of Tuscany, this magnificent Villa offers old world charm with first class Italian style.

It is owned by a family that works hard to satisfy the needs of every guest. Laura, the primary face of the Villa, welcomes everyone with a warm and friendly smile. She is always willing to share a story about the history of this lovely Chateau. Both her sister and mother prepare and serve authentic breakfasts and dinners. Her sons “pitch-in” when needed. All work together to create an atmosphere of relaxed elegance.

One can spend hours enjoying the panoramic views of the surrounding Tuscan hills while sipping nectar from the local Chianti vineyards on the monumental front terrace. The aroma from the surrounding gardens fragrance the air.

There are various styles of spacious rooms to accommodate varying needs. All are decorated in burgundy and chardonnay tones. The HUGE bathrooms are stocked with bath and body care items, made from olive oil produced on the estate.

This hotel lacks no luxury and is truly a hidden gem. Add it to your itinerary!

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms!! The views from each room are spectacular.
