As a resident of Montespertoli, i must admit the Osteria Nero di Seppia is a rare find. A place where quality is of upmost importance is rare nowadays, especially in an area where refined and revisited meals are less common. The raw seafood menu was astonishing. My personal favourite were the tuna carpaccio with black olives, and the 'galinella' with pink pepper and onions. The fish is delicious and certified fresh as it is served raw in the most interesting and delightful combinations such as 'baccala' marinated in tangerine with salmon eggs (must try). To top everything off, the list of wines is as eclectic as one would expect in such a refined environment, local and imported wines researched carefully to match the meal perfectly. All in all, including the friendly service, a very special experience.
