“Excellent hotel, great food, beautiful rooms !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

We stayed during the Christmas period at Hotel delle Alpi.
The new rooms of the hotel are really beautiful with all possible comfort.
Daily, we enjoyed breakfast and diner. The Christmas diner was unbelievable !
The hotel has a very nice welness center, including inside and outside pool, jacuzzi, sauna, turkish bath...all this brand new.
The ski room has direct access to the slopes. If you want, a mini-van will bring you to the other slope accesses about 200 mtrs further as well.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this well located and beautifull hotel !

Room Tip: New junior suites or family rooms are recommended

The food was lovely and we were given a wide range of choices. They are very accommodating with food preferences and dietary requirements.
At dinner they would remember the wines that you have had previous nights and even save a part finished bottle for you to have the following night!
Beds were comfortable and room was ok, did get a little noisy on nights that they had the singer but nothing that spoilt our stay.

Would have preferred to have individual lock ups for equipment rather than a shared unlocked room as we found ourselves sneaking our boots up to our rooms for piece of mind. Things easily get mixed up too when the hotel is fully booked

We stayed at the Delle Alpi as part of a Crystal Ski package. We were a group of 8 ladies who chose the hotel based on previous reviews and it's position. We were so pleased we picked the Delle Alpi, it suited us perfectly. Everything from arrival to check out was handled well. Our rooms were comfortable and very quiet. We were given our own table in the restaurant for the duration with the same lovely and attentive waitress, Alicia. Food was much better than we envisaged given previous reviews of school dinner type catering. 4 courses every night and all of it good. Local meals interesting and we all ate food we'd never tried before. The walk to lift 24 is doable but will be considerably shortened once extension completed. Great ski and boot room with heated pipes for ski boots. All in all wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

All round this is probably the best ski resort hotel we've stayed at. The service was good and all the staff were friendly. The food was of a high standard (for a 3 star hotel). Our room (104) was clean, comfortable and a good size. The shower might be a bit of a squeeze for some. Extra pillows were provided quickly on request.

The room was above the bar so there was some noise from the live music but this never went beyond 11.30 on the Friday night (10.30 other nights). The room was at the rear of the hotel facing the road and didn't have a balcony but only had an adjoining room on one side so less chance of being disturbed by neighbours. Other rooms at the front of the hotel had balconies and looked out over the mountain range - a great view!

The hotel is close to the Valbilo ski lift (about a five minute uphill walk). The Valbilo is a long blue run that is good for getting the ski legs working in the morning and gives access to a red and another blue (recently downgraded from a red) plus the Scorpion Bay restaurant which had great views. The Valbilo run could also be used to traverse across to the other runs on that side of the valley which being South facing slopes were best in the morning as they got soft (we had 6 days of sun). We took the gondola up to the glacier on the other side of the valley in the afternoon for better snow.

All in all a good resort for beginers and intermediates and a great hotel.

We stayed in March 2011 and had a great time.
Breakfast - poor, dinner - very good
Room was very small for four persons with plank bed
There was no animation team for kids disco. Location was ok, not so far from ski lifts

Travelled with Crystal . Lovely clean hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant staff were hard working and quietly attentive. Breakfast - plenty to chose from but a bit boring. Fresh fruit would have been a nice addition. Dinner was very good although one 'themed' meal was a bit dissapointing. The ski lift behind the hotel (24) was not that far away but quite a trek uphill carrying skis first thing in the morning. Suggest catching the free ski-bus which will stop right outside the hotel for you. Get off at lift 23 and from the top of the lift, ski down to 24. Another nice blue run is 18, past the sledging dogs which didn't look too happy. This hotel is having an extension built which should be ready for next season and the plans show access to lift 24 which will be great. We were in room 208. Nice and quiet but only had a net curtain so we had to shut the outside shutters for privacy from the road above. Not a problem though. Ski-hire shop was the most helpful and friendly we have used. The Spar shop is 150 metres away and has everything you'll need. WiFi cost for the week was too expensive so didn't bother. Overall a great hotel and we recommend this resort for beginners and intermediate skiers.

Room Tip: Room 208. Only one neighbour as stairs on one side of room. North facing room so no sun, but then it...

Me and my gf had a pleasurable experience staying here. The staff were great fun and made our stay very comfortable and welcome.

The food good too, we both enjoyed the set menus provided. They catered for a variety of taste buds.

The room was good too, the only downer was that the window did not have a curtain so we had to customize. The hotel very close to the slops, the closest lift was around the corner from us but if you were having lessons this would require a ten minute walk.

The only real downer was that the walls were a little thin causing us to hear our neighbours.

Ultimately we really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it.
