It is in a splendid villa built in the sixties and has a large indoor dining room ,numerous outdoor dining areas and three terraces with panoramic views. The Restaurant faces the main square and fountain just a few steps from the beach. The breathtaking view frames the numerous fish dishes and many others that our chef prepares.

“Large Portions and good rooftop terrace....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

We had dinner here once with 4 people, very large portions and a very extensive menu of both clasic italian dishes and some sardinain specialties...with some interesting fusion touches like wildboar and mussles! Prices were ok, we went here quite late (about 11pm) so the atmosphere was a bit quiet but the view from the terrace (they have 2) was good.

Reccomend the shellfish starter, 1 portion fed 3 people!

“Wonderful and Gluten free....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

I am so glat that this restuarant is listed as number one in Baia Sardinia as it is most deserving. In my book, it could be listed as Nr 1 in all of Sardenia, Italy, etc... My wife and I pretty much rate a vacation by it's food and after only spending 6 days in Baia Sardinia, we were amazed that we found ourselves at Corbezzolo's 5 nights out of those 6 days.

The food was phenomenal and the staff provided outstanding service. It wasn't until the 3rd time visiting this restaurant that my wife noticed that there was mention of "Gluten Free" options for their Pizza and Pasta dishes. Oh my God... I have a gluten intolerance and just couldn't believe our luck... not only was the food awesome, I could even enjoy a traditional Italian Pizza... and let me tell you; there was no way of telling that this was a Gluten free dough (non of that grainy, flavorless texture).

I only wish they would have offered a Gluten Free version of their Chocolate Short Cake. My wife who only weighs a bit over 100 lbs had this cake 3 nights in a row. She said it was the best she had ever had and that's saying something since we've lived in Germany for decades which is recognized for having some of the best pastries.

Either way, if you find yourself anywhere near Baia Sardinia; do yourself a favor and experience this restaurant. This place made our vacation memorable!

ps. the picture I uploaded is of one of the kitchen staff plucking fresh herbs from their garden... I think some of these found their way into our dishes that night. How awesome is that?

“A very recommendable restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

We visited this restaurant nearly every day of our stay in Baja Sardinia. Vi tryed both pizza, pasta and their meat-and fish-dishes and even desserts, and we were always delighted. The service is good. You don´t have to wait long to be served. The atmosphere is supurb with most tables overlooking the see. We recommend the "roof" where You have both nice air and a very nice view also over the village. The food here has excellent flavours and is also a delight to the eye. We highly recommend for example the fresh grilled tuna. We found every meal well worth it´s price.

We noticed that more people visited the restaurants near the beach. Therefore we really want to encourage people visiting Baja Sadinia even to take a look at the meny of this restaurant. Corbozzolo have also recieved special recommendations in Guide Michelin. The prices here for corresponding courses are not higher than those of the restaurants near the beach.

“Fantastic location, great food. Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

Just eaten the seafood menu degustation, and am surprised at the previous review.
The flavours of the marinated seafood antipasti were subtle and lovely, the primi plati of homemade noodles and prawns delightful and the main was just great. My wife had the biggest salad we have seen for a while and the lightly fried fish and vegetables were immense as well as delicious
No room for desert, only great memories and flavours
Great value for money at Euros 74 for two with wine. Service was good not great
The views were stunning, we will come back

“Tiny portions, below avg food. Very un-italian.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

We ordered the 35 euros seafood menu degustation which in any other restaurant means lots of food and featuring the best of the chef. The meal was a big disappointment. Firstly, the portions were tiny. We had 3 courses and left feeling hungry. The first course of marinated fish was bad - the salmon had a funny smell to it like it was out of date. The second course of pasta was good but so small that we assumed the main course must be larger in portion. The main course, a dorade fish was the smallest fillet of fish I've ever eaten in a restaurant in my life. It was about a third of what normally is a fish main course. To make matters worse, it was very overcooked to the point of being inedible. It was probably frozen. To top it off, the service was not friendly and a little rushed (even though there were only a few other tables occupied. You can do a lot better in this area with plenty of other great restaurants at lower prices, better quality and larger portions.

In order to your review first of all we take note of negative ones as of positives. Every personal impression is very important to us. But we have to point out that if you ordered "menu degustation" you sure had a look on the main "Menu a la carte" and you sure saw the fish-dishes you ordered was at € 14 for a marinated-fish as hors d'oeuvres, at €16 for a first dish “paccheri prawns rocket and cherrytomatoes”, and at €16 for a Gilthead-filet as main course, that means a total price of € 46. Thatwhy a menu degustation to let our guest try our purposes at a reasonable price of € 35, Ovviously that could not be same portion as normal they are! Otherwise if you don't appreciate our kind of cuisine we could understand, but surely we buy everyday fresh fish and never offer frozen fish!
