We stayed in the Hotel for 3 nights and by the end of our stay we felt there like at home. I was really sad when leaving this place. The room was very comfortable with the large bathroom. We had a private entrance and garden with deck chairs and picturesque view. Breakfast and dinners (espesially) are very tasty. The dinner is worth tasting. The cost is 22 euros per person without drinks and you get starter, 2 first courses, main course and desert. Everything is made with soul from products grown on the villa. Everything in the domestic atmosphere. The personel is very-very friendly making your stay very comfortable. When we arrived we were very hungry, asked for something to eat and got a meat and chese plate with tomatos and wine. We also had and olive tasting and a little excursion. One of the best places I've evere stayed in. A special place.

this hotel is simply breathtaking, from the moment you arrive you feel at home with a warm welcome from Francesca, she will take you on a tour of the house which is beautifully decorated, the views from the roof are amazing. their gardens are very well maintained and you can go for hours exploring their land. they produce their own olive oil which tastes delicious. you can have dinner at the villa, a proper italian dinner with 5 copious courses!! you will not go hungry and the quality of the food is excellent and the same goes for breakfast! i would definitely go back and would highly recommend this location

Room Tip: our room was on the first floor and we could hear everything in the room above us, footsteps and con...

I was really looking forward to our stay. As we are a family of four I wrote asking for our options. We were given the choice of a family room or one of the hotel's small apartments. We chose the latter. I was given to understand that the apartments are part of the hotel and run by the same people - an impression confirmed on arrival when we went to the same reception and were given a quick tour of the hotel, invited to use the lounge/garden etc. and shown to our apartment. Furthermore we were given the option of breakfast in the hotel dining room - which we took. I was sent example photos of the apartments which looked nice.

I can confirm that the breakfasts are great and offer so many choices you would be hard pushed to sample everything.

But the apartment was not what I was expecting. It was not as nice as the pictures I was sent by email and it was not well maintained: The bathroom window retainer was broken so we had to tie is open with the net curtain. The trash/rubbish had not been emptied from the previous occupant (we got profuse apologies for this, but no-one brought us a new bin liner). Came back on day 2 to find a flood on the kitchen floor. The kitchen is not well equipped - so no tea towel to mop it up with, had to use the napkins. Further investigation revealed a partly full bucket under the sink, presumably the sink leaks and the bucket was spilt when being emptied, but why did no-one mop it up? And why has it not been fixed? I noticed (and cleared up) the hairs on the bathroom floor immediately - but I gave the benefit of the doubt that they had been missed by the mop. But later I realised that there were splash marks on the floor around the loo. Then I saw that our bare or socked feet (we did not wear shoes past the doorway) became dirty from walking on the floor. My conclusion - whilst the linen and sanitary wear were clean, the floor was not cleaned in between guests - not good enough. Glad we only stayed two days.

I hope these rooms can have more care and attention in future.

Our extended family (12 people) stayed at the villa while in the area for a family wedding. The whole villa is beautifully appointed, with superb attention to detail. There are several different terraces all with different views, some shady, all very relaxing. Each of our rooms were different, all equally comfortable with wonderful bathrooms.
Whilst the surroundings were superb, the service was even better, absolutely excellent, of a level which could be expected in a first class hotel. This quality was apparent from the very first email I sent. Francesca and her family made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We had a range of lengths of stay and arrival times, all of which were dealt with professionally.

Breakfasts were marvellous, with individual requests quickly met. Other commitments meant we were only able to enjoy one dinner at the Villa but that was most enjoyable. And the family's wine, especially the chilled rose, is just the answer on a hot afternoon.
The only disappointing fact was that the proposed swimming pool isn't yet built, probably as well for us as it would have been hard to drag ourselves away!
Property is a little way out of Salo, which means it gets lovely breezes, staff always happy to call cabs into town, or enjoy the twenty minute walk down.
I do hope that we can return to Villa Bissiniga in the future.

Room Tip: Taller people may find the ceilings in some rooms where beds are on mezzanine a bit low

First of all, the building is more than nice, outside and inside.
Very confortable, perfect mix of modernity and tradition.
The people running the place are really kind, and all their production is really good (wine, olive oil, etc). Don't hesitate to taste them, and bring back some home !
Town of Salo' is IMO really well situated, with this nice inlet on the lake, and the mountains road to Lago d'Idro just near by.
This place would suit anybody, whatever you're looking for for your holiday at Lago di Garda.
A must !

Beautiful Agriturismo with excellent staff!
Everybody is so helpful and very friendly!
Also the food is very good, excellent wines.
Only one negative point: selling the prosecco at 8€ (own production) but if you drink it at the table/bar it costs you over 20€ (a little bit over priced).
But in the end I definitely go back!

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2013. The beautiful villa offered everything for a short break away. Breathtaking views, amazing breakfast and freindly staff. The most suprising aspect of our stay was the family run restaurant at the villa- dinner served on the outside terrace overlooking lake garda and beautiful mountains. The food was authentic, fresh and ingrediants sourced by local produce. I plan to return very very soon!
