At the end of July I stayed with my daughter at agriturismo Tenuta Cusmano in Grottaferrata for 6 days. We wanted to explore the Colli Albani and Tivoli. In the end we also visited Rome for one day.
Agriturismo Tenuta Cusmano is a very special place because of our good-natured host Maurizio’s kindness and help.. He gave us ample information about near-by restaurants and what we could have there, where they were, about the prices... They were simply exquisite. He also gave us advice on our trip through the Castelli Romani and how we could best get to the Anagnina terminal in order to visit Rome. Every time again he gave us a little map with some explanation.
The agriturismo is situated in a very quiet place, with a great and a beautiful view full of old pini. We had a splendid classic room, equipped with an unobtrusive airconditioning that you could tune the way you wished, a large shaded terrace with tables and chairs. The swimming-pool was lovely, with reclining chairs and parasols and offering a perfect panorama. Every morning we were offered a full breakfast ‘starring’ home-made fig marmelade...
And there is also the kindness...
