Let's start with the good points. The hotel is on a very nice beach, and the staff in the restaurant are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The area around the Amalfi coast is absolutely beautiful, and Agropoli is a really nice town. The food at the hotel was quite decent, but if you have any dietary restrictions, the food might be a bit redundant. I am vegetarian, so I was served eggs and a cheese platter for breakfast every day. Unlike some other all inclusive hotels, this one has specific hours for each meal. If you miss meal times, you have to pay for your food in the coffee shop.
We booked our trip as a package through Flight Centre. Beware that the drive from the Rome Airport to the hotel takes about five hours, and is pretty intense. We had to wait about two hours in a huge lineup to get our rental car. When we got it, we realized that it is impossible to get a rental car with an automatic transmission. If you can't drive a standard, don't choose this package.
When we got to the hotel, we checked in without a problem, and went to an absolutely terrible bungalow. The beds were miniscule, and about as comfortable as sleeping on plywood. I have travelled all over Europe, and these beds were terrible by European standards. We were travelling with a baby, and asked for a crib for the room, and were told that it would cost 50 euro to rent one for our stay. We asked to get moved to another room, but the incredibly rude staff member working at the front desk said no. No other options provided, no customer service. Just no.
This hotel was so terrible that I think that it would have been more comfortable to have gone camping.
Long drive from Rome airport. Make sure you can drive a standard.
