“highly recommend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2011

Just back from a hen do and had the most amazing time. Trim itself is beautiful and the people are massively friendly. The hotel was fantastic, our package included lunch on arrival, transport to the farm (yes,a farm-was brilliant) back to the hotel for dinner, our stay that night and breakfast the next mornin. was fantastic value for money and the hotel staff even organised a pub crawl treasure hunt for us! would highly recommend staying here and would definately return!

Stayed on the Beddeals special offer. Excellent value for money, bedroom was clean and nicely dressed. Dinner was delicious with good menu choice and breakfast was top class. The best asset this hotel has is the warm, friendly welcoming staff who could not do enough for you.

Really enjoyed our stay and will definately be back.

Trim is a cute little town that you can wander around a bit and discover new little things. Castle Arch hotel is right in the middle of all that. The hotel has its own parking, which is very useful considering the location in the middle of the central area of the town, you can park there, for free, and explore away. The hotel only has like 20 rooms, so you have a very homely feel when you go in. The food in the restaraunt was pretty good, I usually don't expect much from hotel restaraunts, but this worked very well for us. They have these delicious barbeque chicken wings that you would swear you couldn't find on that side of the pond.
Its a short 10 minute walk to Trim castle, which is where Braveheart was filmed, its the biggest castle in Ireland. It was unfortuantely closed when we went, but you can still walk the grounds all around it and get the feel for the magnitude and history. The tourist center is right next to it. Trim is a lovely little city, and the hotel was perfect for viewing it.
