We were thrilled to discover that the excellent reviews of the Anastasia were realised. The hotel is everything and more - clean, well maintained, nicely furnished and overseen by friendly, helpful staff. There was a lovely informal atmosphere, the welcome was warm and you quickly begin to feel like 'one of the family'. A huge thank you to everyone at the Anastasia for making our holiday so enjoyable and memorable.

My Husband and I stayed at the Hotel Anastasia for the fist time, I can say we have travelled all over the world. This was one of the best Hotels, the reasons why are because this is a family run hotel and they are lovely people who cannot do enough for you, they always go out of their way to make sure we are having a lovely time. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels and linen, the hotel its self is so clean the standards are very high. The food is very good and always a variety, and is always hot when served. So to sum up this hotel it was one of the best we have stayed in. So much so we re-booked one week later when returned. If you want a good friendly family hotel with high standards this is the one to book.

From the very beginning the cleanliness of the hotel struck us. We experienced nothing but helpfulness and courtesy from the staff right the way from management to cleaning ladies.
Our room was very clean and comfortable with TV, fridge, air conditioning all included, and the safety deposit box in the room.
Meal times were sensible allowing early risers to eat before going out for the day, and people on days out to get a good meal when they came back at night.
As for the food - we have never eaten as well in any hotel anywhere. The buffet food was not only well cooked and well presented, but there was a good variety on offer every day. Table service was excellent.
The pool was also well looked after and anyone wanting a dip in the "big pond" could take a short walk to the sandy beech. Shops and restaurants were all within easy walking distance of the hotel.
We will be back there soon as there were so many things around Crete that we didn't get time to see or do.

this hotel is very over rated. We had expected a twin room.. Were given a double just outside the the blaring karaoke bar . Sheets did not fit the bed. The food was mediocre at best and lastly the staff were generally unhelpful...it is not my problem. I would definitely not recommend this hotel...There are many others close by and it should not be aproblem to find something close by.
