Caravella Restaurant is an excellent fish tavern with great fish at very good prices. Really recommended as the top fish restaurant of Paleochora.

“not good value for money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

Food was moderately good and the service OK. There was a good wine list. Found it expensive for the area. Had better food in local restaurants at a third of the cost. Visit if you want whole local fresh fish and don't mind paying by the kilo.

“Good for fish but not great overall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012 via mobile

Has enjoyed No1 spot for years but the competition is increasing and popularity seems really down this season. Continues to deliver on service which is fast and slick but food other than fish is good but predictable. An earlier reviewer said it was expensive. It is only expensive if you have fresh fish because fresh fish is expensive and their prices do not seem unreasonable. It is a good fish restaurant indeed best in the village for fish but overall not the best dining experience.
