We had a reservation for 5 at 8pm to celebrate the 55th birthday of a friend. Upon arriving the hostess advises us that a member of our party had called and changed the res for 6 persons and that our table will be set accordingly, fine. It was a gorgeous evening so we decided to enjoy our aperitifs on the outdoor terrace. We placed our orders for entrees and main courses shortly after being served our drinks. Before finishing our first round we were informed that our entrees were served! Uhh! I didn't think this was fast food restaurant, especially with beers at 8€ for 33cl and a glass of house wine at 7€. So we are led to our table where, sure enough, our entrees have been served in the process of getting cold and we haven't been seated yet. On top of that, there are only 5 chairs around the table so one two in our party decide to share one chair. Ten minutes go by until we decide to bring attention to the fact that we need another chair. This is after we have to make a special request for some bread to accompany our entrees. The bread, by the way, is the one you buy for 60c at the local department store, you've got to be kidding me. On top of that, we had to make a special request to see the wine list and again attract their attention so we could order the wine, all the while our entrees are getting colder, bummer. Okay, so now the main courses....two plates (duck) are served cold, problem is these are supposed to be hot, so the waitress takes these back to the kitchen for warming. Even warm, these plates were hardly appetizing. In general the food quality is mediocre. The service not much better. Accordingly there was little appetite for dessert and coffee. Adding insult to injury, the bill came to 275€.
