We stayed in Horizont 7 nights, 10-17 june 2007.
Standard room, seaside.
In short word - we got more then we expected. It was a good week out.
Only three things is not OK for 4 stars in Horizont : 1. standard rooms are only approx. 12-13 sq. meters (but cleverly planned, and because of that convenient in spite of small size), 2. only shower - no bath, and 3. they don't give toothbrush (I prefer my own anyway - but as well as I know they should give one in 4 stars hotel). I don't think all three to be in "must have" list - but someone may have another opinion.
Other things are really very good.
All is clean. They do it well.
Seaside room is really seaside (at 1-3 floor you look at the sea through pine trees - I think it's very lovely too, but if you don't like it - ask for room at 4 or 5 floor).
Good swimming pool (but the sea is so near and so lovely...).
Excellent situation - you have only to cross a silent sea-front road to get to the beach. Bus stop and marina are in 3 minutes lazy walk.
The only noise you can hear in the evening is live music from outdoor restaurant at the sea-front - if you don't like that music and return before midnight you can shut balcony door and turn on air condition, it's good as well as sound insulation. We preferred to keep the door open - they played well and not too loud.
The restaurant in hotel is not bad, but I don't advice half-board or full-board in any hotel in Baska Voda - there are many restaurants of any kind and you will definitely want to try all.
The personnel was helpful, the receptionists have fluent english and german.
If you want busy night life - it's a wrong place. But it's very good for anyone who want a relax, for families with children and elder travelers. A good silent place.
