“Wonderful hotel, ideal location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

We had a brief stay at this hotel, but have to say it was excellent, the staff were extremely helpful and the owner was full of information regarding the area. He certainly came across as the perfect host. the hotel location is perfect for the area, 100m from the ski lift, 100m from the bus to Stubai and a short walk to the town.
Our stay was cut short because our son was ill, but the owner was very understanding and only charged us for the time we was there.
We will be returning as think the hotel and place has a lot to offer.

Well worth a visit.

Just returned from Neustift after a weeks stay at the Victoria. The last review is definately a true reflection of our experience at this lovely hotel. We arrived after the restaurant had finished serving and were asked to go straight to the dining room. The food was excellent and we were still given a choice of main course even though we were late. There was a varied menu every night which included a fondue night and a gala buffet for our final evening. Wine was reasonably priced with a good choice for all budgets. Rooms were spacious and decorated to a high standard with large comfortable beds. The only very minor criticism we would have is the lack of English speaking programmes on the TV. We did'nt really miss it too much as the news is never good these days!! Would definately recommend this hotel to family and friends and would certainly not hesitate to stay there again.

Have just returned from a week long stay at this wonderful family run and operated hotel. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff this is the place to stay. The owners are around and about at all times, including their lovely dog Luna who can often be found asleep in the lift! The rooms are typically Austrian, clean and comfortable with a balcony. The food is exceptional, a good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast, the dinner menu was varied and wonderfully presented - 5 courses every night and then a wonderful buffet is prepared on a Friday evening. The apres ski coffee and cakes are very welcome after a hard day on the slopes. Wifi is available at a cost of 9 euros, if you need it. The ski bus leaves from just outside the hotel and it takes about 20 minutes to the bottom of the glacier gondola. Skiing was great it snowed every day, pistes are wide and well maintained, however can get a bit chilly at top of Stubai glacier. Neustift is a pretty village with a couple of supermarkets, restaurannts and bars, and the bonus is that it is only about 20 minutes from Innsbruck airport. My only slight complaint would be that the heating in the bedrooms was a little on the cool side, seemed to be unable to control it from within the room, not a problem just put another jumper on! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

Super location away from main road but opposite Elfer lifts and bus for glacier leaves from almost outside. This bus is nearly always empty and is a better option than the one from the main road, also only a short walk from the hotel.
The hotel is extremely friendly and has a nice spa area with a large hydrotherapy pool - just about big enough for a swim.
Food is superb and very imaginative for Austria. The morning buffet has hot options and coffee/tea and cakes are served after skiing. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel to all skiers.

Just returned from this hotel after a long weekend skiing and it was brilliant but before I tell you about that.... let me tell you how this hotel helped us when we got caught up in the whole flight ban due to volcanic ash thing. This hotel has staff that go beyond the call of duty....Natalie in particular...she explored alternative travel arrangements for us, booked us on a cross coutry train to Paris, hotel in Paris overnight and even took us to Innbruck train station. They also let us use their office internet to get booked in on Eurostar.if is was not for this hotel we would have been stranded like all the other Brtis. Now that's what I call customer service!!!!!

Now for the hotel....the rooms are spacious, food was good, staff were friendly and the location was perfect. We booked direct via email and we asked lots of questions before confirming. The hotel were quick to respond to our enquiry and were thorough in their response. We went specifically for late season skiing knowing that we would be gauranteed snow because it is just 20 mins ski bus ride to the stubai glacier (only one hotel at the glacier, all hotels are in Neustift) and a quick transfer from Innbruck. We weren't disappointed, it was just 25 mins transfer from the airport to the hotel which they arranged and the skiing....well that was just perfect :-).

The Austrians really know how to remove the hassle from the skiing experience by running a skibus on time, every day (not something we would be able to achieve in the UK!) with plenty available at the end of the day too. Equipment can be hired at the glacier and left there in the lockers overnight or you can leave your own there like we did. It was so easy, I took the opportunity to try out some new skis. Two gondolas get you onto the mountain both heading off in seperate directions after the midstation. Pistes were reasonably well groomed. Some good off piste but not for the faint hearted!

Neustift also has it's own small ski area too but the village is 900mtrs and the highest point is 1780 mtrs but it was too late in the season which was no bad thing because we got to see just how pretty the village is and realised that a summer holiday there would be great too!
