“Good spot for a late afternoon glass of beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

While walking through St. Elena checking out the souvenir and T-shirt stores we decided to have a beer at the treehouse. The service was fine, and we enjoyed sitting in a restuarant built around a huge tree. Bring a windbreaker, since it can be cool due to the ever-present windgusts.

“Great atmosphere but poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

The restaurant is fun to visit but we found the service was lacking. The food was so so and took a while to arrive. The lovely tree is not to be missed but perhaps just stay for a quick drink.

“Pretty much no way to not want to eat there”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

This restaurant has a big tree growing up through it, and you climb up winding stairs to eat under the branches. It is totally awesome, and the food was excellent. I got a hamburger/fries for around $12 and it was totally worth it. After eating gallo pinto 3 times a day with every meal, you begin to want a USA style hamburger and fries. My sister in law was with me, and she said her food was also excellent. No complaints!

“Bit of a tourist trap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

The place looks very nice, but the food is average and the price is quite high for what you get. You can get similar food at other restaurants for a fraction of the cost. A definite tourist trap.
