100 meters from the ocean and nestled in beautifully landscaped gardens this pool side restaurant should receive top marks... but it doesn't. 50% of the menu boasts fish options, so far during our 6 day stay, they have had no fish on premises, and are completely inflexible to substitutions. Have found the food to be strange, (think vegetarian burrito stuffed with boiled carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, with a sweet tomato sauce drizzle) and poorly executed for the most part, with the exception of breakfast which is tasty and authentic. Service is hit and miss, with some of the staff being lovely, and others completely unfriendly. Sometimes we are given napkins, coffee cups etc. Other times not at all. It seems to be one of the better options in the Tambor area (ambience, cleanliness etc.) Night time around the bar is typically lively and entertaining with locals, tourists and guests alike. But its missing a few essential components for sure.
