“Superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

We would've loved to stay here, but only had dinner here. Good food, and good staff. The owner just started the place 4 months ago, with his wife, a designer. Very nice design, he showed us the rooms, and they looked amazing. Top choice!

We stayed at White Walk Villa for 2 nights and had a truly memorable experience. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the staff obviously put a lot of effort into the presentation of the villa. We stayed in a super deluxe room which was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the couch and looking out onto the ocean.

The staff were outstanding and made extra effort to make sure everything was ok. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The hotel also offers free wifi which was reliable and a good speed.

We highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again!

This is a review of the restaurant as we weren't quite lucky enough to stay in one of the three beautifully decorated rooms with the sea view and roof terrace....next time!
We popped in for lunch on New Year's Day and Sabrina explained that the restaurant wasn't open until that evening, but that she would make us some lunch if we wanted. This flexible approach where the customer comes first seemed absolutely typical of both Sabrina and Manesh. We were treated to the most delicious pumpkin soup and prawn and noodle dishes, all made by Sabrina as the chef wasn't in that day. She created the menu and is an interior designer, so we we treated to the most incredible food in beautiful surroundings. Both Manesh and Sabrina were friendly and we chatted at length with them both, hearing all about their endeavours. They both take huge pride in what they do and nothing is too much trouble - their main aim is that you have a good stay. The white walk restaurant and rooms have only been open for a few months, but if our experience is anything to go by, they will be going strong for years. I can't recommend this place highly enough, I'm already planning my next trip to Sri Lanka and this time it will definitely involve a stay at White Walk.

Room Tip: I only peeked in to have a look at one of the rooms, but they looked great. All three over look the...

We just stayed at WW. Amazing and memorable experience. The owners are particularly wonderful and their staff is excellent. While it is a little away from all the beach activity that should not be a deterrent to stay there. Clean, aesthetic, and good service! Pls stay with them!

We have literally just got back home after a wonderful 4 night stay at White Walk Villa - and it was the best decision we took for our amazing Sri Lanka trip. The owners, Sabrina and Manesh, are really good people and their team, Indu, Dhambiga, and the Guard (sorry cant remember his name) made our stay really comfortable and special. The Villa is tucked away right at the end of Unawatuna beach and is ideally located for a 2 minute walk to the beautiful, white-sand & toourqouise water beach of Unawatuna, with lots of nice bars, restaurants and chill out spots. The Property itself is decorated beautifully and the interior decoration is a high-point throughout the property. The Room were very spacious and comfortable and the high-light is the amazing huuuuge balcony/terrace that is shared by the three rooms.. there are stunning views and lovely chill out / dining spots, so guests have their own privacy while being able to share an awesome common area. The food was also delicious - home cooked Sri Lankan food and grills with amazing sea-food kept us full with yummy food prepared by the owners themselves. Even though the rooms didnt have their own fridges, the owners were happy for us to use the common fridges to keep our munchies and wine cold - much appreciated! Overall, it is a beautiful property owned and run by really nice, warm and genuine people, with great food, sincere and efficient service, and a place where we are coming back soon with our friends. Go WWV!

Room Tip: There are three boutique rooms - ideally you would come with 3 couples to book out the entire villa...

This hotel only appeared a short time before our departure on Agoda, and we decided to give it a try. We were delighted with the location as although on the main road through Unawatuna, the traffic was not great during night-time hours and certainly did not stop us from having a very comfortable sleep. The Villa has just 3 rooms, two very large, with decent size bathrooms and one smaller room. The location was idyllic, with the sound of the sea just over the balcony and fabulous views of Unawatuna beach, very close, but just far enough away to avoid any noise from the beach bars. The owners, Sabreena and Manesh are a delightful and well-educated couple who speak excellent English and were on hand every day if we needed any advice or assistance. The other staff were also very friendly, and Indrani, the cook, while with more limited English managed to communicate with us quite adequately and produced some great evening meals and beautiful breakfast omelettes.

Room Tip: The extra space afforded by the larger rooms is well worth the extra cost

I was traveling with my 11 years daughter we stayed at this newly opened Boutique Hotel couple of the last lights of my Sri Lanka visit. If I found this place earlier I wouldn't want to go anywhere alse. There is three rooms upstairs with huge balcony. One of the owners is interior designer and if you are intrested in design you ar in heaven, all the details are designed and match each other. There is also restaurant downstairs with most lovely sea view ower the beautiful Unawatuna Bay with nice international meny. There is this special warm family feeling at the same time you have your own privacy. This hotel is by the very busy Galle road, but I slept with th only fans on and had good sleep. My daughter also loved this place and had earlier been wanting pool but she was also enjoyed this tastefull interior, free wifi in the room, sea view, friendly safe atmosphare, and the short walk to the Unawatuna Beach. We had lovely barbeque one evening. This was my third time in Unawatuna and I have been staying in many places in Unawatuna, hhis hotel is really value for the money for the one loving design and love to take lovely pictures..

Room Tip: There is only 3 rooms upstairs number 1 has little bit more privacy.
