Our experience with this company was nothing short of excellent. Everyone on the boat had the opportunity to fight with some of the best Mahi-Mahi I've seen yet. The staff's experience and friendly personality made it one of the best days of fishing I've ever had. I strongly recommend anyone visiting El Salvador to get on the line with this charter.

Recently spent a week in El Salvador. Decided to do a fishing trip and hired Luis Vilanova of fishelsalvador.com. Luis together with his crew (captain with 30+ years experience and 2 helpers) were terrific. Day before area experienced bad weather so fishing for Mahi Mahi would not be good. Luis went to plan B and we went for red snapper. I asked him if he had plan C and told me yes he indeed did. He has not had a trip where fish has not been caught so he was not about to let his record fall. We spent 8 hours and had a terric time with a great bunch of people. Place is only 10 minutes from Hotel Decameron so Luis picked me up and dropped me off.

My family and I had the opportunity to visit El Salvador on September 17th, 2007. My original plan was to find some surfing spots in the area, and sure enough I did! The waves and the surfing were incredible, but I'd like to tell you about my top experience: fishing. I was referred to [--] site by the hotel concierge and I decided to give the charter a try...the transportation to and from my hotel was punctual and we were out at sea in about 50 min. The preparation this charter takes for good fishing as well as to look out after the safety of the crew was pretty impressive to watch.
...the staff was amicable, knowledgeable, experienced, and they really teach you how to fish. I learned how to catch tuna,mahi mahi, and we even released a sailfish.
My favorite moment of the trip is when the crew cooked a 'ceviche'; a tasty traditional plate onboard in just 45 min. I would definately recommend this charter company to anyone visiting El Salvador and in need of some realaxation/fun.
