Stayed at this small friendly hotel for 4 nights as art of a Jamesway Travel short break. It was fantastic value. The staff were excellent and the food was also very good. The best Scottish beef and the Salmon was obviously very fresh. Its a good location for travelling around the central part of Scotland with Loch Ness, Inverness, Aviemore and Grantown not far away. The Dancing waters display is next door to the hotel and well worth a visit. We were there during a very cold spell but the Hotel was kept warm and the cleanliness could not be faulted.The pool was small but very pleasant after a days travelling and they even had a Snooker room for those that wanted to indulge. Have paid more for less many times.

Stayed here recently as part of a tour. Nice but very basic country inn. Was very clean and comfortable, and there are a few amenities in the area, such as a market. The surrounding area is rather quiet but it's a good base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. Dinner and breakfast were also very good.
