Okay, it's not a 5 star swanky hotel but then again you shouldn't expect it to be for the price. Stayed on Sunday night myself, my mum and 12 year old niece. It's compact, clean, free wi fi, comfy beds, air-con everything you need at a reasonable price. I'm amazed some comments here have criticised the staff, I have been a hotel manager for 15 years and the staff at the crash pad were without exception polite and friendly. Breakfast was fine branded cereals freshly baked croissants, yeo yogurts, fresh fruit salad toast etc. i don't understand why people complain that its not a full breakfast when the terms clearly state continental breakfast, I always research before I book a hotel so as not to be disappointed . If you don't like whats being offered then surely you'd be better booking alternative accommodation rather that letting it spoil your holiday. Full breakfast was available for a very reasonable £4.75 if required and although we were happy with the continental option the cooked breakfasts looked very nice. We ate in the restaurant and weren't expecting great things but it was hot, tasty and reasonably priced especially considering its the only practical option if you don't want to drive. Service in the restaurant was friendly and polite, if a little slow. It doesn't appear that anyone is in charge of the restaurant and that does show. All in all the crash pad is a great concept for a short stay which is why despite it being somewhat budget I've given 5 stars as it offers exactually what it advertises.
