“Great hotel with great location & views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

great holiday at the hotel.
i think all the rooms have sea views and there is a small pool and kids pool.
the food is good and all the meals were buffet style. the hotel have direct access to the beach (sea side). the rooms were cleaned every day and although there was a lot of sand from the beach, this was cleaned properly.
there is a kids club for 5+ and my little one asked us to go all the time as she loved it.
some bad things: you need to pay 8 euro a day to park your car, we didn't had a coffee maker in the room and the adult entertainment is lacking but there is a plaza close by that have a nice market so we preferred to go there in the evenings.
over all very good hotel.

Had a wonderful holiday with my children (18 & 13) and we're already planning another visit!Faultless service & comfortable, clean accommodation.
Location is stunning - it is just as good as it looks in the photos if not better.....and everywhere you go in the hotel you look out onto the stunning vista.
I found a local water sports Company who offer windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, power-boating lessons and equipment hire on the Mar Menor which is run by an English couple. Great if you don't speak Spanish because you can be reassured about exactly what the activities involve.
The hotel is very Spanish (by which I mean predominantly Spanish families of multiple generations holidaying together which creates a wonderful atmosphere).
I would love to see an all-inclusive option here, but saying that the drinks prices in the restaurant were not excessive, and the staff there are really helpful and friendly, some of them speaking fluent English as well. Food was varied with something for all different tastes etc. I also noticed that they have diabetic jams etc at breakfast & they offer a gluten-free menu if required (the nurse in me spotted these details!). Seems they have thought of everything to make your holiday break just perfect.
My daughter enjoyed the aqua-aerobics, & once the instructor realised she did not speak Spanish he gave her instructions in English too!
There is a lovely square within short walking distance that has a little street market at night & comes alive. Nice bars and restaurants around here too if you fancy a change from the hotel food or just a social drink.
This was a really relaxing holiday - just what the Dr ordered! Would recommend to anyone & have already shared the details with some of my friends.
Cannot wait to return; have got withdrawal symptoms already!

Yet another fabulous location for a Servigroup hotel, they really pick the best spots for their hotels. We had a panoramic room, fantastic views and perfectly comfortable for the two of us. The food was lovely, lots of choice, restaurant not too busy, drinks reasonably priced. Staff were wonderful - very friendly and polite. Try it - don't think you would be disappointed. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely go back.

I stayed for a week in late July 2013 with my wife (and two teenage daughters who had an adjoining room) the girls were happy as every room has complimentary wi fi.
Our first impression was WOW... the hotel is located right on the waters edge look out the window and you will see the beautiful blue med. amazing! breakfast was either cooked or continental bacon sausage mushrooms etc. any type of egg you desire all freshly cooked while you serve yourself.(dinner... we were on half board) and evening meal was a buffet with just about something for everyone. the fish dish was really good (every day something different) EVERYTHING WELL COOKED AND CLEAN. 10/10 FOR THE CATERING AND THE SERVICE. just to add we had a bottle of house wine with our evening meal and was surprised that a reasonable bottle of wine was only 8 euros.
my advice is.........Stay at this hotel.

Agree with other posters comments. Was not sure what to expect of La Manga and its " Strip"
Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. Long sandy Beaches, laid back atmosphere. No Lager Louts
or Queen Vic pubs :). Just the Real Spanish Holiday.
Hotel was very nice. Obviously catering for Spanish foods so Picky Eaters beware.
Have to say I dids over induldge in the food. Love the Soups. IT does get noisy in the restaurant for the last hour ( 2pm to 3pm ) & ( 9pm to 10pm ) so avoid those times if possible or bring ear plugs. Its mainly due to the tiled floors making moving chair tables sounds magnify. We were on 3rd floor room 340. was not the best of view overlooking rear car park and side sea view but hey we didnt expect to be sitting in the room all day. Hotel Staff spoke limited english but were all very friendly. We tried our best to speak Spanish. Free Wifi great bonus. Would Definitely recommend not only the hotel but also the La Manga Strip. La Boehemia square 2 min walk with ice cream parlours, bards restaurants. also further 20 min walk way even more bars, disco bars, shops etc in los naranjos square.
Menor sea on one side where you can walk out hundred yards in calm flat water with fish swimming around you.. or go the other side of the strip to med sea which is obviously busier.

Room Tip: I wouldv always say hgh elevation room for better view and obviously quieter.

or Having spent two night full board at the Hotel Galua with my wife I would recommend it for a relaxing stay. The hotel location is superb, the rooms are good clean and have a spectaculer view over the Med. The food was pretty standard buffet well cooked and presented but not great.
The hotel is spotless and the staff all are helpful and polite at all times. The dining room is more like a cafeteria then a restaurant. It lacks comfortable chairs, tablecloths and napkins.Car parking excellent as is wi-fi. To sum up a 4* Hotel with 3* dining on a 5* location, but would stay there again as overall enjoyed the stay.

Room Tip: Higher floors for the best views

Really nice hotel, very well placed with lovely beaches around. Excellent food court and about Hotel´s staff.... to bring them home with you!. Really nice people.
About La Manga, looks like Cancun. The weather is excellent during the whole year but during summer vacation is too crowded. Better to travel not between june and september.

Room Tip: Las habitaciones con balcón 180 grados al mar, sin ninguna duda. There are 6 rooms with 180 degrees...
