We sat down for a beer at the edge of the beach overlooking the Med. It is just a beautiful spot with small fishing boats on the beach and children playing on the rocks while parents watch from the bar.
Having eaten at lunchtime, we were not looking for a big meal in the evening.
We went to eat inside and ordered anchovies, patatas bravas and black rice with a bottle of good local wine.
The anchovies and patatas were good, as was the wine. The black rice (essentially a risotto) was poor. There was very little fish in it (4 small prawns) and it was dry. The bill came to €80 which was twice the price of our good lunch.
Service was acceptable with a pleasant waitress who was probably doing her work experience.
