I booked a last minute holiday for myself and my two young children taking a risk and getting the accommodation allocated on arrival. We could not have been happier!

I have not stayed in a hotel for a long time, and never on a half board basis so I was a little dubious, but everything was wonderful. The selection and quality of food (buffet style) was amazing - all 3 of us had no problems choosing and enjoying our meals! The whole hotel was possibly the cleanest place I have ever stayed, with the staff unfailingly helpful, courteous and friendly.

The guests being mainly Italian, Spanish and French, everyone there genuinely adored children and I felt extremely safe allowing my 6 and 8 years olds some freedom to play and explore without worrying about their safety. Having lived in Spain I was over the moon to be surrounded by elegant and classy Mediterraneans instead of the typical "Brits in Ibiza" and was made welcome by them all.

The Animacion Team (entertainment) was by far the best I have ever seen. They worked hard and constantly, not minding the children who all adored them and wanted hugs and kisses every time they were within reach! Thomson should send their Kidzone Reps to whatever training the Animacion Team had - they could certainly learn a thing or two!

This was a brilliant holiday - perfect accommodation, stunning location, excellent service, wonderful food and a smooth journey. Thank you so much Cala Verde for a simply wonderful time.

I was booked into the Cala Verde Hotel by a friend and I was NOT disappointed. It was a lovely hotel. Not alot of Brits there, which was good, considering my last experience in Ibiza, with shaven-headed drunken louts...the Cala Verde offered class and understated elegance. It was occupied mostly by Italians and Germans who set the tone by being totally continental, ordering a coffee, when a Brit would've ordered 3 lagers.
The location is for those not seeking the club scene but for those seeking a romantic setting and just somewhere to totally relax.
Enjoy breakfast overlooking the Med, totally peaceful and a world away from it all.
The evening's entertainment was well-done and the performers really wanted to give a good show. They were enthusiastic and didn't fail to achieve a good night's entertainment. The Animation staff also entertained you throughout the day, if you wanted them to. Children were well-catered for and the staff never seemed to be hacked-off or wanting to go home! They were intent on the job in hand.....'to entertain'... and they did it so well.
I would definitely book here again. I found the staff extremely helpful and courteous.....even as far as retrieving my hairdryer fluff-filter off a roof!! Nothing was too much trouble. The staff in the restaurant were brilliant...well-mannered and attentive and so polite. It helps when the people they're attending to aren't beer-swilling monsters!
