“Rustic sophistication with a French accent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2009

We stayed for three nights at Les Terrasses, 5km outside Santa Eulalia on the Eivissa road, after our booked hotel failed to live up to expectations. What a find. The main part of the hotel is old, charmingly furnished and quite quirky in a very tasteful way. The rooms, some in the main hotel but most dotted around the terraced grounds, are delightful: a good size, they are well designed and attractively decorated with painted furniture and paint effect walls.
In the extensive gardens there are two pools with loungers, as well as quiet corners among the abundant vegetation.
We had one meal inside - unfortunately it was raining and the beautifully lit terrace awash - and the food was excellent. Breakfasts were a slight disappointment however: basic continental, with fruit, ham etc costing extra. Les Terrasses is famous for its cous-cous nights on Tuesdays, when more than 100 people can be spread around the grounds.
The staff could not have been more helpful, particularly Frederique, who looked after us splendidly. Our stay was all the more enjoyable as we managed to cut a deal for our room, which would have otherwise been empty.
A car is essential for Les Terrasses, but both Santa Eulalia and Eivissa are within easy reach.
If we return to Ibiza we will definitely stay at Les Terrasses.

Beautiful place, garden, both pools are surrounded by nature.
Amazing atmosphere, very friendly, at home like feeling.
We stayed in 2 rooms, they were both romantic, warm cozy and modern at the same time.
We are definitively going back.
The restaurant is very cute as well, great romantic lighting, healthy food.

It is my first review after using trip advisor for the past 3 years. Why... Because every boutique hotel should be this way. We spent one day in Paradise thanks to the lovely and caring Francoise and Frederique. The room was great (even the small one). everything is decorated with great taste. Thanks as well to the dedicated catering staff whose sole ambition is to make you happy. A great retreat on this party island.

We have stayed in four boutique hotels in Ibiza and this is the one I will try to rebook first on my next trip. Private house feel, chic, homely and tasteful. The owners are charming and it is great that their children and pets are also around the house making it a really personal place to stay. My travel companions also agreed that this was their favourite of the places we have stayed but one commented that he would like it even better if it were more rural. On the contrary, I liked the fact that we could walk into the town for dinner in the evening.

Another simple but great touch that I loved was the honesty bar by the pool. After a day at one of Ibiza's many beaches a dip in the shaded pool and a sundowner with friends - just perfect.

We stayed for one night but this place needs to be enjoyed for a little longer.

Fantastic experience, a real recommendation for a romantic getaway.
As for the blue rock, luckily I had checked out Trip Advisor before leaving and had remembered the review, if it had not been for this, we would never have found it!
The pool areas were fantastic, and almost always very quiet.
No real complaints, however I would have to say that I found the couscous experience somewhat overrated. Now they do it some miles away at the hotel´s new restaurant and for us it was not worth the drive. What a shame the hotel´s kitchen closed that day as the dinner in house was really excellent.
Overall though, the hotel was paradise, a true find and the best way to end our honeymoon. We will be back!

Not sure I understand the fuss about the blue rock : unless you real speed, which is impossible on this island, you can not miss it.
Just had a great week-end, enjoyed the island and was very pleased to come back to hotel and its 2 pools at the end of long day on the many beaches.
The relaxed charm of this place makes you sometimes feel that you own this large house and, in my house, my wife rarely runs when I ask for drink/lunch : service at the hotel is in keeping.
If you are bored of over-attentive service from Four Seasons and want to be left alone, this place is for you.
For those, unlucky, needing to keep in touch w/ office, hotel has Free WIFI hotspot.

A more relaxing, chic and friendly Hotel you are unlikely to find anywhere in the world. I know this sounds like an overstatement, but we were incredably well looked after and the Hotel exuded class and charm in a particularly unpretentious way, much like the owners and staff that ran the show. I loved the fact that we were able to eat breafast at any time, be it 8am or 12:00 Noon without any complaining from the staff! We wiled away the hours by sitting out on our terrace and private garden or sitting by one of the two swimming pools sipping ice cold rosé and catching up on much needed R & R. The food was excellent too; Some particularly memorable dishes that we scoffed were as follows: Some toothsome Pigeon raviolis with a refined lemon cream sauce, the best Salad Nicoise I have ever had (we had that for lunch 3 times). They have a weekly cous-cous event whereby in the traditon of the 'Grand Aioli' they produce the lightest, fluffiest cous-cous with poached chicken, lamb, beef and merguez sausages with a delciously spicy harrissa sauce and a large spoon of the sweetest caramalised onions I have ever eaten. This is all helped a along with the sieved poaching broth and some chick peas. Phew!! I am still dreaming of it.

As you can tell, we really enjoyed ourselves, so was surprised to read the first review listed here (I think they entered the wrong Hotel by mistake). I urge you to go, but be sure to book well in advance as we did because the 10 rooms get snaffled very quickly, much like the heavenly food.
