“Amazing hotel in an amazing city!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

I went to Aguas de Ibiza for 1 week during my holidays and I was very impressed with the hotel , the location and the friendliness of their staff.
The rooms was very nice and clean and the views very really beautiful. The decoration was very nice too and very aligned with the style of a fresh city such as Ibiza. We spend a few days and night in the swimming pool having some yummy cocktails and enjoying the unique views and the relaxing area. I could spend hours in there! This was a huge plus and we loved it. The staff were also very nice and helpful and made our stay even more pleasant. finally, the area, santa eulalia, is very well connected to the whole island of Ibiza and it's very easy to get anywhere you want with a car. We did a lot of 1 day excursion and came back to enjoy the relax of the hotel. I'm definitely going back next year!

stayed in May for 5 days with my daughter its was very nice but lacked a bit atmosphere. The room was lovely and very techno. The room had the biggest balcony i have seen with a lovely view but still you cant buy atmosphere! Food very expensive and the resturaunt was empty one night we were the only 2 eating there so it was the first and the last im afraid to say. The spa was nice we had a massage which was a little embarrassing for my daughter... her masseus looked like George Clooney and she had to wear a paper thong...I rest my case...still laughing..I couldnt run in the room with the female therapisy quick enough...

We had one of the suites and it was amazing - cava in the room, tub on the balcony, amazing double showers and room - perfect and top class! Will always stay here when we return to Ibiza which we do every year :)

I have stayed here twice with my husband, we could not wait to return after the first visit! We booked into the corner suite which was fantastic and well worth the money. Everything from the check in, the breakfast, pool service etc was nothing short of 5 star. I was 6 months pregnant on the second visited and so appreciated the chilled out atmosphere the hotel had. We will definately be back next year!

We booked this at half price on a livingsocial.ie deal, but it would have been well worth paying full price for. This is a modern, luxurious hotel without being at all pretentious. Staff are friendly but not in your face. The breakfast buffet is divine (but very calorific). The Air Ibiza bar is just gorgeous and the perfect place to chill out any time of day. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel is well designed with lovely spacious and gadget filled guest rooms with a comfy bed and well appointed bathrooms. The breakfast is great with a wonderful choice of food and drinks. The pool is good but the piped constant chill out music can be annoying after your second day (and that comes from a ibiza chillout music lover!). TV has a very limited english choice of channels limited to business or news channels and no ability to rent a DVD or select films on line. The staff are polite but can feel a little sterile which doesnt create the warmth of some hotels where the warmth of character from the staff help you feel welcome. All in all a nice hotel which lacks a little character and warmth to make you feel welcome.

We went at the end of Sept/Start of Oct which is the season close (club wise)

This hotel is in a great location if you want an edge of town hotel. Your not more than 5 mins from the Marina restaurants, and your a 20 min cab from Ibiza town itself. Some comments have been that it faces a working boatyard - but it is along side a functioning Marina, so perhaps you should be prepared for that.

The great thing about the location is that you can get onto the coastal path and there are some great bars in easy walking distance away from Eulalia - Babylon Beach Bar being a must.

The hotel itself is listed in the Design Hotels publication and it does make a statement in terms of its look and feel, but was missing a few things. The rooms have limited TV options and no way to play your music (IPod Dock?). The biggest miss was a good evening restaurant. The one used when we were there also the bar and the whole thing feels a bit between the two - it's not a great bar - and it feels odd as a restaurant.

As for wifi as a number of people have said it is never any better than dreadful. At best it is good for occasionally checking the odd email, but connectivity is poor/non existent especially round the pool and any connection shown does not always mean you will be able to actually browse - We ended up just checking mails when out at the marina bars as they in the main had free fast access.

Now this might all sound bad, but actually the hotel is in itself very good. It feels smaller than it is (122 rooms and described as a boutique?) The staff are friendly and helpful - apart from serving coffee at breakfast which they seem to have a massive aversion to doing.

The pool area didn't get crowded and the rooftop bar was great - It has a resident DJ on Fridays nights which had just finished for the season so that might make the top floor rooms a bit 'lively' They also have another restaurant up here which we heard good things about, but did not get to eat in.

It's a great base for seeing the island. Gym was good enough (I do use hotel gyms a lot) and the spa was good, but again a bit soulless. It was quiet when we went though and I suspect the vibe of the place may change a lot as it goes into season as the pool and garden area is a bit 'snug' for a 122 room hotel

So in summary, good and different to the usual offering, perhaps resting on its design laurels a bit so could do with some more 5 star/boutique hotel (in room coffee maker/IPod Dock??)substance. Oh and decent wifi and attentive service.

We enjoyed it and would go back.

Room Tip: Rooms to the reception side have poor views - Carpark + Housing, but are quiet (some people have com...
