“Top Hotel In Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

My wife and I have stayed at this Hotel several times, so much that we decided to have our Wedding there, we invited our close family members and friends which included a total of 30 guests.

The staff At Amorosa were very helpful in taking care of everything for us, from the rooms to the ceremony which was held on the Beauitful Grounds at Locanda! Every detail was taken care of with the upmost Professionalism ,
The menu and the food was exceptional, very Authentic Tuscan flair! Something that you would get at a Five Star Hotel.

This Beautiful Setting is hard to duplicate anywhere, there is something for everyone at this Hotel. If you decide you want to take day trips or just stay back for the day and enjoy the pool and the quietness of the serene countryside.
Most af all the people who work at Amorosa are very friendly and helpful in all aspects, the restaurant is absolutly Wonderful , very Romantic and the food is divine.

I Have stayed at many five star Hotels in my travels and Amorosa is definitely a MUST stay!

Enjoy!

Room Tip: Try the apartment over looking the countryside! All rooms are wonderful though!

We loved everything about this unique hotel, once a Tuscan hamlet. The setting was perfect, the rooms spacious and charming. The courtyard was the perfect place for an afternoon prosecco. The restaurant's dishes featured fresh ingredients from their own gardens, and the entire staff was attentive and helpful.

We enjoyed 2 nights in this breathtaking hotel. The gardens, pool, grounds, and buildings are absolutely stunning. The restaurant was fantastic, with the freshest ingredients, and freshly picked fruits and vegetables. Our stay here was Truly something special.

This 40 year old hotel is the perfect place to tour southern Tuscany and is the most charming of any hotel around this area. True it is expensive, but we felt it was worth it. The grounds are very well kept, there is a pool which with3 tennagers we used a couple of times, the buildings and rooms are in very good shape. Breakfast was very good, and the view from the patio was breathtaking. Rooms were very clean, large (we had superior rooms), and well furnished. I have been told the entrance to the hotel, which is lined by numerous cyprus trees, is one of the most photographed. Not to mention the vineyards and herb gardens were a nice touch.

Biggest draw backs are the restaurant (althought the staff and wine selection were very good, the food is average and expensive - try Walter Redaelli in nearby Batelle for a classy meal) and that the wine bar was closed and they were not sure when they were going to reopen. otherwise, a very good choice for a true experience of Tuscany.

The location is simply amazing: a typical Toscany renaissance small village, incredibly charming and very well kept, where one has the nice feeling to be back in the time. The rooms are on the contrary quite basic and not in line with the hotel's category and especially with the price they charge (270 euro !). But the worst is the restaurant, where they presented to us a very bad prepared food, served in an hasty and unattentive way by a non professional staff.

The location exudes an atmosphere of true serenity and sweetness and anyone exposed to it will be awestruck. Each room has its own character and design. Rustic furniture of peasant origins is mixed with antique furniture, prints and paintings. Some, that open directly to the outdoors give the sense of having a place of one’s own; others have a relaxing view of the typical Sienese countryside; yet others look out onto the complex’s quadrangle and face the lodgings the peasants at one time inhabited. ... more   less
