“A great blend of Mediterranean flavors and French cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

This little gem in the heart of Naoussa is such a great contribution to the food scene in Paros. Last time we dined here with my husband, 3 years ago, we had a great culinary experience and we were looking forward to visiting it again this year. The food is a great blend of Mediterranean ingredients with a French flair. The highlight of the dinner was a beautiful sea bass dish with risotto and a maringe desert that tasted like an airy Pavlova but with a sorbet center. The restaurant itself is a small garden with an understated elegance and the service is great without being intrusive. There are some nice taverns in Naoussa serving Greek food but for an elegant and tasty culinary experience I would definitely recommend Le Sud!

“may be it was...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

nothig negative nothing giving reason why to come back; food quality is ok and way of cooking light; dessert quite useless; avoid lemon tiramisu; decadence mood of place that has (perhaps) been much more popular/fashion. Too expensive for Naoussa.

“great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

Maybe a little more expensive than surrounding restaurants but a nice change of menu when you had nothing but greek salads and other traditional greek cuisine since a week. We loved the atmosphere of the garden and the excellent service.

“French inspired menu in the heart of Naoussa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

Quiet, attentive service and interesting food make this a change from the usual Greek menu if you desire something different while in Paros.

The salmon starter, sardine special and bruschetta were excellent. My duck was good, cooked medium. Prawns and pork mains were also well presented and tasty.

Desserts were as you would expect from a French chef . Dessert wine from Samos was so sweet and honey-ish it was a pleasant surprise.

The surroundings were lovely and the bar looked like a great place to chill. Cheap cocktails between 7 and 9 pm. The mojito was great and the special champagne cocktail was a taste sensation with ginger, strawberry and tequila. Try it!

The proprietors live in naoussa all year and support the local economy and suppliers - very well done.
