“A perfect hotel to stay at Munich outskirts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

I stayed for 4 nights on my business trip, visiting company in Feldkirchen. Located close to the high way and S-bahn train station (free parking). The staff is very friendly and nice. The breakfast is delicious and diverse. All the facility is very clean and well kept. I stayed at 2nd floor, room with balcony, the place is quiet. The swimming pool and sauna are highly recommended. The only negative experience is the need to ask for 24hr WiFi password for each device

Stayed the one night on a business trip. Staff are friendly and the food is good in the restaurant for both Dinner and Breakfast. My room was on the second floor, spacious, with a balcony and nice enough. Only issue was the noise from the boiler system, which kicked in every few minutes. I'm assuming that it's very nearby. Wasn't enough to keep me up, however I can usually sleep through things like this - just slights irritating.

Second time staying at this hotel; the staff are delightful (spoke english very well), have a wonderful european buffet breakfast (both hot & cold foods: eggs, bacon, sausages & fruits, cold meats, cheeses), and the room while spartan was comfortable. The heated bathroom floor was appreciated during the cold December mornings.

I stayed in this hotel for business and although the train station is convenient, I would stay someplace more central for tourism. It is a family run establishment and it has a friendly atmosphere. The food in the restaurant is excellent, actually the best I had during my week's stay, and I was I taken to several famous restaurants in Munich. Breakfast was included in my rate and it was excellent as well. Being a tea drinker I was especially with the vast selection of gourmet teas. The parking in the garage was free (my husband rented a car to get out to the castle and such). My rating isn't perfect only because the rooms are a bit sparse and they touched two of my pet peeves: First is not having any tea or coffee making facilities in the room (seriously how much can a electric kettle cost?). Although there was a coffee and tea area downstairs it was not for hotel guests, it was for conference guests only. Second is that we had two single beds pushed together to make a king bed (which is fine) but they made each bed separately rather than putting a sheet over both mattresses and giving us a king duvet. But overall a very nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Our room looked over the front courtyard, which seemed nice, until we realized that is where everyon...

We stayed here during Oktoberfest and it was just a quick train ride into the city for the festivities. Parking and driving in Munich can be challenging and we were able to leave our car in the secure garage for our visit. Feldkirchen itself is a wonderful small town; the bank and bakery are right next to the hotel. A super breakfast, clean European style rooms, wonderful staff and a traditional feel. Don't hesitate to return for dinner in the evening--although we did not eat dinner at the hotel we wished we had as the meals looked lovely. I highly recommend this as your "base" when visiting the Munich area.

Great hotel showing wonderful Bavarian hospitality - large rooms with comfortable beds, modern bathroom, free underground parking, free WiFi with decent speeds. Breakfast buffet is great and free with large selection; very tasty bread and sausages. Dinner is wonderful and reasonably priced.
Very friendly staff both at the restaurant and the front desk.

S-Bahn stop is about 10min walk. From there Munich is 20min ride.

This little hotel was wonderful - great front desk service, clean and upscale hotel rooms, free parking, very comfortable beds, Sky TV, free wifi, and free and full breakfast buffet (which can be delivered via room service for a very reasonable 5 Euro)--all at a decent price for the service (especially during Oktoberfest!). I would definitely recommend to any traveler.
