“Adequate but salty food (definitely not gourmet)”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2014

Came for lunch, as a party of four, extended opening hours compared with many restaurants in France which won’t serve you after 1.30pm for lunch. Had the chicken kebabs which came with a small salad and fries, approx. 13-14 euros each. Good portion sizes but the food was quite salty. Located on a busy road and sat outside under the shade of some large trees. The food came quickly. Adequate but certainly not gourmet, this is bistro food.

“Decent lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2014

Reasonable value and a decent lunch, but busy waitress was rather grumpy, which diminished out enjoyment.

“A splendid lunch venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

We popped in here whilst passing through and twas a good choice for lunch! a very slick operation meant that fresh food was ordered and served very quickly indeed, the venue is clearly enjoyed by both locals, evident as they know the ropes and pay the local rate, and by the tourists who pop in for lunch and buy local wine. Excellent service, delightful atmosphere, fabulous fish and salads, great opportunity to try and engage with locals and the language.

“Chilled and informal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We often stop here for coffee or beer or wine whilst passing through on bike rides. Has got noticably trendier over the years. Never eaten but always looks busy on a lunch.

“tourist trap”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Great location but very mediocre food! Côtes d'agneau (lamb chops) from an old sheep, consisting of 90% fat. A business built on visiteurs de passage, people who come once and never again. There are several, far more interesting restaurants around the corner at similar pricing.
