“Nice hotel for a romantic week end”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

the hotel was very nice. We were welcomed by freindly staff. The rooms are modern and quite big. Great rain shower. Breakfast buffet is wondefull with plenty of choice. i enjoyed the fresh aqueezed orange juice. If you book on line, you get free internet. Also, make sure to book the wellness package. You got exclusive use of the wondefull spa. Make sure you do not get a room on the groung floor, they are quite noisy. The hotel should invest in better sound proof doors! Also, free parking and a bike room. We will go back!

Room Tip: No ground floor rooms

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We travelled 30th-March to 2nd April 2013. Hotel was very clean and immaculate rooms fantastic and huge, bathroom was great too. The room had a/c system but i felt never got as warm as Id have liked to have had it. It was pretty cold when we arrived and had to put extra bedding on the bed which is provided for. Now I knew that dogs was allowed in hotel and suffered badly when in room as I am allergic to them, but I NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS thought that they would have been allowed in the dining area where people was eating and food out on tables. This was my only flaw of the hotel and for that reason would not be returning.

Room Tip: asked not for ground floor as a lot of noise from the only walk way to elevators.

This is a nice well situated hotel 200 meters from the sea, modern and a very nice room but..

For the price you expect a bit more, Internet is extra and not just a little bit extra but €4.00 an hour. These days I expect Internet to be available free of charge. Outdoor parking is €10.00 and indoor €15.00.

The bed is very comfortable but the windows were dirty, probably due to the recent weather but for the price you expect they clean the windows.

There is a mini bar in the room but there is nothing in, for the price of the room you expect a well stocked mini bar.

Breakfast has a good choice with fresh orange juice and nice coffee, the fruits were excellent.

The bar is nice with a huge range of whiskeys and a nice choice of beers.

The service is correct and not overly friendly probably trying to attract the business people more than the average Joe.

I would recommend this hotel if you felt you get your money's worth but I don't think you do.

Room Tip: There are room with a view if you step out on the verandah. The Parking is behind and is called Moza...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2011

The hotel has a great location, on the coast not too far from De Panne and only a short drive over the border from Calais. For anyone with children, it is close to the theme park Plopsaland & for anyone on a booze cruise from England there was an excellent warehouse just along the main road in De Panne. The hotel is clearly the leading hotel in the local area.

On first sight the hotel stands out as being new & modern. This goes right through the hotel into super modern rooms and bathroom. Though not a cheap option, it certainly does stand out as being special - just what you always look for in a hotel.

Food has excellent options with lots of bars and restaurants on the main street as well as having hotel facilities. Breakfast was plentiful as well, again served excellently and with a lot of choice including a hot option.

Only issue was really with some of the chargeable options. Though breakfast was included, EUR15 for garage parking seemed expensive & wifi was again an added option. Seemed excessive especially for the latter, which in today's world should be a free given like hot water & free TV.

Overall though an excellent stay with gripes being very minor. I would visit again & recommend anyone wanting to stay somewhere above the norm.
