Friendly and efficient. Centrally located. No dining room (apart from breakfast room) but handy for Grot Markt (central square) which has several good shops and brasserie style restaurants. Fritterie and (in season) mussel eateries not far away. Most of the Cicindria hotel rooms seem to have been recently renovated (2012). Top floor rooms in part a bit short of headroom due to the way the rooms are built into the roof space. Breakfast efficient and good. A recent (well, last 2/3 years) innovation is a small coffee machine near the reception lobby which produces decent coffee (as you expect in Belgium).
Limited reserved parking space in nearby large private garage useful but of course they charge extra for it. Parking in the immediate area otherwise restricted by recent additional and excessive bollarding. The worst thing about the hotel probably is the difficulty involved in trying to navigate St Trond's one-way system in order to reach it, compounded by temproarily blocked roads when the fun-fair comes to town.
