“Enjoyed it, but a bit limited”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013 via mobile

Very pleasant, mix of locals out for a nice meal and business people. Relatively casual bordering on fancy. Very limited menu, steak, eels or shrimp croquettes. Very generous family style portions, decent wine list.

“Definitely Worth a Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

I was lucky enough to have been recommended this restaurant by someone who lives in Brussels.

I went there with a colleague and had a very good meal indeed. Their speciality is eel in a house green sauce (possibly not for the Brits) and Cote a L'os (T-bone).

I had both the eel and shared a huge double Cote a l'os which came up nice and pink.

Go for the souffle glace au Grand Marnier - yummy!

Can't wait to go back there.

“hiden delicious place where locals eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

its a restaurant outside Brussels near the Chateau the la Hulpe in the woods where locals eat.
It has a restricted menu to two main dishes but its worth the try for meat and eel lovers.
It has one star Michelin. The place is cosy and gives you the feeling of eating at a relatives´ home.
we had a great french wine.
