Fantastic Family run hotel based in a small village made up of 7 farming hamlets. Der Krallerhof is a well developed and luxurious hotel with its' own spa facilities. During the winter it is on the edge of some good skiing and this links to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm slopes and in the summer there is extensive mountain biking, golf and hiking on the doorstep.

The hotel restaurant is large and the staff very experienced; you may not always want to dine from the 7 course set menu, but the food is excellent although not as varied as it could be. The wine list is extensive and expensive but there are some gorgeous Austrian wines and also a large selection of wines from around the world. Don't expect a sommelier to guide you through it, but if you need a guide you can have it.

The Altenburger Family are always on hand with a friendly smile and good english and will help with anything you need.

This is a top hotel and well worth a visit.
