“Good choise in Bad...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

I was several times in Bad Kleinkirchheim , bt I never was here. It was definitely a nice opportunity staying here in this period.

Nice room with a large balcony (chairs included) on the garden and the river on the back.
Very good bathroom as well.

Perfect spa area including a pretty large pool and large enought idromassage .
Also sauna area was well equipped. All in all a good area to use just before dinner !

Just a little bit far from downtown and Terme (St Catrine

First evening we were late for dinner and they kindly proposed us having dinner to tehi restaurant Einkehr just 5 min away walking : a very traditional stube.

All in all then a nice staying considering relax objectives and full nature environment need.

Room Tip: Nice rooms towards wood , but the only issue is little "noise" of the river during the nig...

My husband and I had three nights at the Trattlerhof and were looked after extremely well by the staff and the family who couldn't do enough to look after their guests. It was easy to relax in the casual friendly atmosphere of the hotel and in the hot rooms/swimming pool area. Our room was comfortable and the food very good indeed.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights in September 2013. The hotel was in a wonderful place with great staff and we had a good experience. Everything was great, especially that at every dinner there were six amazing dishes.

Room Tip: with balcony and mountain view

This is a delightful family run hotel in the heart of Corinthia in Austria, and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, spas, and delicious food. In the vicinity are six challenging golf courses. a perfect place for a golf holiday with a difference.

Stayed for 9 nights and we enjoyed it. The staff was very nice, professional and flexible, which comes in handy with kids. Our 13 month old boy was the centre of attraction for the staff. They genuinely seemed to have been enjoying taking care of us. The dinners were the highlight of the day. Everything that was served for dinner (sometimes five course meals) was excellent. Our kids loved the spaghetti bolognese and the wiener schnitzel.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

My son, who lives in Vienna, Austria, arranged a celebration trip for my 80th birthday. Included were his family (wife, boy 5, girl 3), his brother and family (wife, daughter 6, son 2), my wife, and me. we spent four nights at the Trattlerhof before moving on to the beaches on the isle of Krk in Croatia.
The rooms were purchased at a special advertised rate, and included breakfasts and six-course dinners, plus afternoon snack either at the hotel or at a more rustic sister establishment a short walk away. The package included excellent half-hour riding lessons for all except the 2-year-old (he did at least get to sit on a horse). The kids, including the 3-year-old, loved it. We discovered beautiful indoor swimming pool, complete with sauna, quite by accident, but visited it daily thereafter.
Facilities were excellent, rooms very comfortable and fully equipped. Views from all sides of the hotel were a continual enjoyment. Th excellent meals can be taken indoors or outdoors. The six-course evening meal was outstanding, along with the full breakfast with all kinds of fruit, cheeses, breads, omelets, and on and on.
We were all made to feel t home, and our requests were honored by the staff. Two old one-cylinder tractors stood in the barnyard, and we (adults) were allowed to drive them to the sister hotel along the main street or Bad Kleinkirchheim, Our kids got a big kick waving (and being waved at) while riding on the tractor or in the trailer..
The elevation of the village (3600 feet) was sufficient to avoid the brutal heat prevailing in the valley regions of Austria. And attractions available at little or no cost thanks to the Kaerntner Card, such as a gondola to the tops of a mountain, and a visit to Heidi Land (a children's experience park) were more than sufficient to keep the children involved for our whole stay.
Every member of our family, regardless of age, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Trattlerhof.

Room Tip: A few rooms on one floor do not have acces by elevator, but all the rest do

Stayed here just for one night on a cartrip around the area. Friendly and warm place. Service is really good and flexible. Breakfast just perfect. Dinner ok, nothing special. Only internet in the lobby which is a minus. Rooms a fine and with enough space.
