I had to travel to S. Korea on business for 1 month. We were guided to the Nice Hotel by our S. Korean trip planner. She booked the Hotel and rental car for us.
What it is... Hotel Nice is a LOVE hotel. That means they have hourly rates, or as they like to call it "short rest". They also rent to government contractors for long stays too. At first I was appalled, but I found out that Koreans live together in small apartments, so they need a place like this to go for some "private time". It makes for some interesting evenings (are they straining to move furniture up there?)
Rooms are large and very clean. Restrooms are well kept, and grooming supplies are provided such as shave cream, hair gel, combs, etc. Water purifiers in each room, as well as UV sanitizers for the glasses are standard. Bidet which is a big thing in Korea is included too. Some may like the big screen tv's, but most of the channels are in Korean, except for the Armed Forces Network. Oh, yeah, condoms in the nightstand, and desentisizing gel and naughty movies are available.
There is internet, and a desk to sit at. Not very comfortable desk chair. Bed was hard, in the traditional Korean style. I had to buy a puffy blanket and fold it over to sleep on - bed was just too hard. No dresser (sarup jon) and really dim lighting (shongu), and nowhere to hang clothes, but this place is built for short stays. The hotel staff was accommodating and willing to bring these items upon request. Hotel staff didn't speak hardly any english, but they were very kind and willing to listen, especially as I drew a picture of the toilet needing to be uncloged with a frowny-face on the lid! Honest people and good service. I would stay there again. And yes, they did laundry for me.
